Question on the Singapore Level

Ok so i have gotten to the fourth step on the guide where it says to climb the latter then shimmy out and jump to the building on the right. I have tried this repeately and i can't manage to jump to the other building. I continue to fall to the grond when i jump. Is there something i am doing wrong? thanks

You have to time it right and what you do is this:

i jumped across and i shimmied along the wall along the ledges then i jumped onto the building to get the chest etc.

here is the part from the guide i used:

Climb the ladder on the side the compass is pointing to and jump to the balcony on the right. Go forward, jump to the next balcony and defeat the enemy. Cross the balance beam and defeat the enemy on the next platform. Make your way to the left across the ledges and defeat the enemy on the next platform. Jump to the next platform, defeat the enemy and continue forward. (Note: if you fall to the bottom level, you can either climb the ladder at the first platform, or you can use the crate under the balcony where the compass is pointing to get up on that platform).
Follow the path around the street and jump to the opposing balcony to defeat the rifleman. Drop down and go left until you get to a closed door. Activate the switch to open the door and go through until the end of the path. There you will find the Calypso puzzle piece. Go back the way you came to the clearing and defeat the wave of enemies. Collect the available items and head in the opposite direction to which the compass is pointing and climb the ladder on the left. Jump to the opposite balcony and climb the small ladder to the right. Use the zip line to trigger a cutscene. Defeat the wave of enemies while keeping Will, Pintel and Regetti alive. After the cutscene, go to the right from the marketplace and defeat the soldiers. Make your way over the water to the left through the huts, following the compass. Defeat the three enemies by the ship to complete the level.

I hope that helps you out m8, i know its awkward as it took me a while to figure it out.

Is there something i am doing wrong? thanks If you are trying to long jump(with the RT) then you won't be able to grab the ledge.
