Can't Get Port Royal Calypso Chest????

Can someone please help me. I can't get the Calypso Chest on Port Royal. I've read that there is 2 ways to get the chest.

-The 1st being hitting the switch on the top wall and it should open both gates. (which it doesn't...it only opens the one with the 2 switches inside)

-The 2nd being after hitting the switch on the top of the wall, go into the room with both switches. Hit both of them and the new area should open along with the gate with the calypso chest. (this still doesn't work for me either)

WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?????????

PLEASE HELP!!!!! When you first enter the last area go to the left. In the corner on the wall there are a couple of wood planks. Climb the wall using your sword and shimmy across the ledge to the wooden platform. From here just climb up the wall and the lever is up there.

well...you haven't opened the gate yet cause the 2 ways you explained are not the right places for the switch that opens it....here is how to do it (vaguely explained cause I cant remember the exact shape of board)

1. go to left side wall from where you spawn into the board at
2. there is a wooden ladder looking thing you can climb up
3. once you get to the top I think you have to manuveur across a few ledges both above and back down below you (always moving towards the right of the screen)
4. you will get to a place where you CANT go any further on the ledges it seems
5. if you hang from that ledge by your hands and keep going right, you will reach a place where you can pull yourseld up onto and TADA...THERE IS YOUR SWITCH THAT OPENS THE GATE WITH THE CALYPSO PIECE INSIDE
