Anyone read this hidden gem, by Clive Barker (Author of Hellraiser)
It's a interesting little tale about a Devil's escape from Hell. Defiantly worth checking out, I loved it, and I don't read many books.

I've seen it before. I'd read it if I found it cheap. I've only read one by Barker and thought it was ok.

I've been reading Barker for over 20 years and can tell you that he has much, much better work out there. Mister B. Gone was OK, but I felt it was his weakest work yet. He is becoming entangled in his ideas to the point where he cannot find a stopping point. I really felt Mister B. Gone would have been perfect at 100 pages.
I really can't recommend his older stuff enough. Weaveworld, the first two books of The Art, and Imajica are Masterpieces. The second Abarat book is up there too. Do yourself a favor and try one of those.

Bought it and plowed through it. Until, oh the last 40 pages when the book took a self-aware approach through another narrator. I thought it was a great idea up to that point, and then I just couldn't help but feel Barker just dropped the ball. Took me 3 days to force myself to finish the story after that point.

I'll admit the ending was strange, but I still loved to story.
I mean come one, he squeezed an angels head until it exploded into a ball of light?

He's actually not the author or Hellraiser, he's the author of The Hellbound Heart, which is what inspired the movie Hellraiser. Just thought I'd be the asshole that says that.
Anyways, I read the first 30 pages or so while standing in the middle of an isle at a book store, but never got past that. I think that it is truly an interesting idea, and I like how it is written. Unfortunately, I've got a lot of books to finish and start before I buy anything else.

I'm sorry, I must be slipping in my old age, but what is 'Tf'?

Don't worry probably no one knows it.
Something me and my friends made, supposed to mean "That's funny".
Just trying to spread it around the internet like a virus, so I use it when I can.

Yeah, my book backlog is crazy. I'm not helping myself one bit because I realized how easy it is to request books from the library.

I love my Library! Well being really cheap and jobless, It's a blessing. Especially since I can get Xbox 360 games there also!
