Free cell achievement

Anyone know any tips on how to get this achievement easy?

actually you can get it with easy free cell which allows you to pick up entire stacks without free (empty) cells. It is quite easy.

Are you sure this works because I tried it on easy freecell and I won without using any of the empty cells at all and I still didn't get the achievement so I have since been trying on regular freecell.

it didn't unlock on easy freecell for me either, but it did unlock on normal freecell.

Yup, as everyone else has said, you can only get it in the normal Freecell game, Easy Freecell will not unlock the achievement.

Also, if you're stuck for moves, remember you can use the Hint option to help you out, if you use more than 2 cells at anytime, just start over. You'll get it eventually, it's all luck really..

ok i dont know how to play free cell at all and i read the instructions. so can some one break it down a lil and explain how to use one cell only

All of the cards in the deck are randomly shuffled into a number of piles.

You have to build the deck into four suit piles from ace to king.

You can build down on the shuffled cards in alternating colours.

You can move single cards into free cells at the top of the screen, no cards can be placed on these but they can be moved back to the piles.

You can always use this amazing trick called Google if you need help with the rules.

Hey guys I found an easy way to do this achievement!

You play on Freecell (regular, not easy) in Voyage mode. This, of course, gives you some of those special abilities which help.

BUT, there is a bug/exploit (or possibly they just left it in like this just because it is so hard to do legitimately).

If you have autoplay and autofinish on, here is what happens: Let's say you have 1 of the 4 free cells occupied. You can only use one other cell up there to still get the achievement right? Now, let's say you have a sorted pile of THREE CARDS to move and you have no free slots in the tableau. Well, what you'd normally do is place the first card in free slot #2, the second card in free slot #3, then move the third card to the final location, and then remove the cards from free slots 2 and 3, right? This would of course negate the achievement. BUT, if you just highlight the three cards in the pile and hit B, it will move them for you. It doesn't show them using the free cells up top, but since it isn't easy freecell, it has to use them right? Well, apparently since it never actually shows them being used, it DOESN'T COUNT. So you would still be able to get the achievement! This works in even larger situations! If you have all 4 free slots free, you can move a pile of EIGHT CARDS (impossible using just 2 free slots), and it will move them for you, and the achievement will still unlock!

I tried this repeatedly in REGULAR, not easy, freecell (on friends that had this game) and it works!
