Anyone got any hints and tips to help with this mini-game, as I'm really struggling with it? It's the one where the zombies shoot back so it's really hard to build up a decent supply of offensive plants.

Tried walnuts? Worked fine for me. One of the easier minigames actually.

Besides wallnuts, I'd say have some other quick ways to take out the zombies as they make their approach (cherry bomb/chile pepper). But the wallnuts placed at strategic times should make the level pretty easy.
