I played for two days and I hated both days. But my friends can't stay off.

i lost a friend to that for many months... but he is back now in the "cooler" virtual world of xbox live. ;)
his live status was offline for 60 days, then 90 days, then he was off so long it did not even say how long it had been. but he came back to us...

Mine come on once in a blue moon. But now we're starting to hang out more, now that we work together.

lol
I always hanged out with friend when I wasn't raiding or doing a PvP grind. And I played Xbox Live about every Tuesday (maitenance). But it does sucks ya in, and I know a few people that only come by or do things when you literally force them to.
Friend has failed out 3 years of college because of WoW and he continues to play. Hes happy to have the first alliance shaman on his server and numerous server firsts, is what he brags about when we actually do hang out. Now that I'm done with the game, I understand it's achievements but it's sad that that's all he looks foward to.

I almost lost my gf of 4 years to that game..... I have since quit wow and am going on 6 years with her. We are actually getting married on July 20th, this year.
I had many nights I wouldn't be able to sleep because I wanted to grind some levels out, or run a raid... etc.
Its just sad how Blizzard played into everyone's competative side and made a game that is unfinishable... which is why everyone plays it constantly, trying to finish something that will never be.

i was once a avid addict of everquest...... or evercrack as we called it. years went by and i actually lost a job at one point to the game. broke that addiction and almost got snared into EQ2 but i broke my discs, deleted my files, and forgot my name and passwords for both the accounts i had. i'd say a lil more then 2 years clean now. :woop:

I'm sorry but I find WoW repulsive.
I'd rather tear my penis off and play Viva Pinata than play that homo-infested game.

Unless you play with friends, WoW is horrible.
We all bought new comps near enough at the same time, so 5 of us decided to try WoW out. We enjoyed it (no way near addicting though), after about 3 weeks one of us quit, then another. Then I quit because no one barely played it or PvPed, only got to level 35.
I'd play it when im bored but im fed up of online RPGs
Well atleast thats my story, and its on my Desktop ;) Under "World of Wankcraft"

I've played wow with my level 68 druid. And I'm getting bored since thier aren't many players who can beat me in PvP servers and not too many swarms of monsters that I can't take down even in the out land.

Yep I've lost 1 friend to WoW and another is on the verge of being totally addicted. He wants to be homeschooled and play wow all day. getting an F in history so he can only play it on weekends now. He even has a 360 and a Wii... Lucky bastard doesn't deserve the wii! But come september he'll be on huxley! Thank god.

I guess I should clarify that I have never lost any friends, but I have lost plenty of my life due to this game.... my friends and I played this together.

I haven't 'lost' them either. I hang out with them a lot, but like, WoW just stopped it for a while.
