Rockstar Games announced today a special edition of Grand Theft Auto IV, which will be available the same day as the standard edition. A company's press release stated:

Damn you notice everybody is trying to make money off the special editions. First with the Spartan helmet (halo 3) now to grand theft auto. I mean i most likely won't buy this special edition but i can't wait for the game. I am kinda intrigued by the soundtrack though. I think that's a good deal. I know for the last grand theft auto the soundtrack for all of the disks was 40 dollars.

Agreed. I wouldn't pay an extra $20 for crap either. But if it's something cool, like with Bully (inflatable kickball) I'm defenitly going to get the full package.

I'm not a sucka for special editions at all, I wasn't money on that special edition of Lost Planet and Elder Scrolls and they were huge pieces of shits to me. But once a pic is released of this stuff and if it looks good then I'll most likely go for it.

You can use the safety deposit box to hide that embarrasing copy of Barbie Horse Adventures : Wild Horse Rescue or American Grizzly.

It is a tempting offer to go for the special edition, the delivery would be hell though.

It's things like this that make me love being a designer. I love to see full packaging systems and ideas realized like this. I will buy this purely for the idea, its a nice set.

I Have Pre-ordered the special addition version and i think it will bbe work the extra cost due to pre-order extras and the special edition goodies cant wait till the 28th of april... am going to my local game store at midnight for it:woop:
