Help Beating Goblin

i got past the press"x" "y" "LB" up right etc.... now I am in the fighting stage. I can't beat this bugger for the life of me. I have tried for over an hour now, and my thumb is broken. I feel like jumping in the air and then attacking works great, but I still have not beat him. At one point I had a 30 hit combo going, and I almost had him.... still nothing.

I can't really give advice on the fight itself as i haven't reached it yet.

but have you done the crime fighting zones yet? As you clear these up you will get several max health and focus upgrades which have really helped in tough fights.

it's the same as with any other boss. for the goblin i got past the button pressing etc... and then i swung away a bit, stopped and waited for him and pounded him with Y and then once he started to attack back i swung away again... it takes time but it eventually beats him down.

as for any other boss, you wait until the yellow indicator comes over their head, hold spidey-sense and then just start caning them.

Be sure you are using your spidey senses, (you probably are as you got a 30 combo) but be sure to counter when doing this and when jumping, you could try jumping to his backside, then when he turns around, jump around to his back again and attack him there.

This and the apocolypse boss had caused me problems for nearly a week, and with your tactics I get them both done in 15 mins :drunk:woop:

Glad I could help man, for me slowing down time and not taking damage in boss fights was key. (Duh! but, easier said than done) ;)

i aint done it but i think steer clear of the explosives there wat got me and keep using the sense thing

I couldn't do it at first then i figured out just keep starting back from the flight scene cause it takes out some of his health then try from there and it was easy and i did it first try
