...hearing the little "ba-doop" of the Achievement Unlocked message no matter what I'm doing?

It's driving me insane! Insane I say! I'm even hearing it in my sleep! Ever since I broke 13000...it just won't stop!

ha so its not just me :p . i thought something was wrong with my hearing or something! every now and again i hear the achievement unlocked noise and i ask one of my non gaming family members if they heard and they just look at me strange :p

I heard the hidden orb sound from crackdown the whole time when i got to 499/500 orbs. Very anoying because every time i though i heard it i searched the whole area. Thanks god i got the last orb so i dont hear that sound anymore. But now im hearing the agility orb sound....

i hear it a lot,
most of the times its when i get an achievement,
the rest of the time its when someone comes online.

Me and my mates will be in private chat playing,
and when someone comes online,
we now have to say achievement unlocked pro penguin online, or whoever it is.

Yep we are that sad.

Sometimes someone is pouring a drink and the liquid makes a sort of Achievement Unlocked sound against the glass... then i feel the urge to go and play the 360... im so sad lol!

I get the same thing and it really pisses me off. Sometimes I'll be on my computer while my xbox is on and it will make that sound in my head and I'll turn and look to see nothing pop up. it's rather annoing

Haha. Uh....it all started when I rented NHL 2k6. The achievements were so easy to get, I just couldn't help my self. From that point on, I've been buying games purely for the fact of getting achievements. Even buying games like Bionicle Heroes so I could add an extra 1000...I can't stop myself.
Speaking of achievements...I wonder if Microsoft will let you carry on your gamerscore to their next console. IF Microsoft does gamerscore that is.

Actually, I wasn't really joking all that much when I posted this. It's usually when I'm listening to music or something though. I'll hear something that sounds a lot like that little "ba-doop" and I'm instantly remined of it.
