Roster Downloads

So, I borrowed this game from a friend of mine, and I went on Xbox Live to check it out and noticed the roster downloads. So, I had no problem downloading the most recent roster (June, 2006 I believe) and the All-Star roster (What does this do, anyway?).

However, when I went to download the World Baseball Classic roster, the game completely froze when I clicked "Yes" when asked if I wanted to save it now. It does this every time I attempt to download the roster.

Anyone else have this problem? And how's the roster anyway?

My 360 froze as soon as it tried to locate a profile for me when I signed on to XBox Live in the game. I didn't bother trying again. I don't want to chance seeing the 'Three Red Lights' or something.
