is it possible to make a backup of your gamer profile

i'm aware you can download it off of xbox aswell but i would also like a hard save on a memory card but i cant see any option to in the xbox.

i can copy saves for backups and not sure why this isnt possible

I'm pretty sure I copied my profile to a usb flash drive don't know if it would work the same for a memory card or not. But just curious as to why your curious about backing up your profile?

yeah, i don't think you can copy your gamer profile. for some reason my memory card has a 'ghost' of my account though. when i have my memory card plugged in it has Mister Buds - 0g

because when you recover profiles they dont always work properly and i would rather have a proper backup. I also dont like relying on microsofts servers if im truely honest.

You can copy your profile to a usb drive, then recover your account on the xbox. But I don't think it will be that reliable, and if you're wanting to back up often, your better off having to trust Microsoft's servers.

You can use a USB drive or a Xbox 360 memory card for this (:
Go to your save and select Copy and it'll do it.

There are some games that don't allow for copies for some reason, though.
