Apocalypse Boss

Any tips for beating the Apocalypse leader? its the fight where you chase apocalypse members with the cops 2 times then throw the bomb in the ocean. thanks.

Try to stay out of reach of the pack. If things get dicey jump into the water or onto the shed being as they won't attack you in either area. Try to focus on the little guys first and pick them apart one at a time. Use your web pull and aerial attacks as this allows you to do damage without risking attacks from multiple opponents. For the boss himself, its hit, spidersense, counterattack, and repeat.

Something that also might help is complete all the random crime fighting zones. Because as you play through these you will be awarded with health and focus upgrades, the last of which when you get 100 in all of them.

I did this at the very start of the game and have since had little trouble with fights.

I got lucky with this as well.

After struggling with a buddy of mine for 20-30 minutes to kill this guy somehow I webbed and threw him in the water and all left was his goons.
Ended up being the easiest boss in the game.

All I did to beat him was Jump, Attack, Repeat.


I tried the water trick but couldn't get it to work, but pulling his minions on top of the building certainly works well.

For me he was a nightmare, until I figured you just have to stand still, wait for his attack, hit Spider-Sense, hit ONE TIME X or Y to kick him, works everytime, wait for your special powers to kick in, use RB+Y, and repeat. It is long but very effective, once you get the pattern, you won't get touched even once ! It also works against the Kingpin, just evade ONCE and press Y, and he won't touch you, and it also works fine with Priscilla.

Once you are on the dock run down to the green dome shaped building. Jump on top of there and web rodeo all of the members (except the boss) up onto the building so you can spin them around and through them over the fence and into the ocean. Then after all you have left is the boss stay up on the building, slow time (spider sense) jump down on top of him and attack him. Then if you get low on life just keep jumping up and down from the dome to finish him off.

Thats pretty much what I did but instead of getting off the shed I just pressed x once so he would punch then tapped the hell out of B so he would shoot like 4 web balls at the boss, then just repeat that over and over. its a slow method but you wont take any damage.

He wasn't hard at all, just do special combos, RB + A, or even RB + B and that gets rid of the weaker foes pretty easy. Just combos until the boss is by himself, then make sure to use the spideysense and counter attack, so you don't take much damage. Do it until you win. Good luck

It seems to me this "is" the only way to beat this guy. I tryed for about half an hour punchin and kicking this guy and was lucky if i got him down past half way. You need to just keep countering.

yeah i finally beat him a while back. just rodeod all his cronies into the water then i jump attacked him till he died. thanks for everyone's input, hope this helped some of you.
