my dehydration is always low im near the start of the game, wheres the bet spot to get some water??

its at critical levels not good, does a doctors bag heal that or just purified water??

Goodsprings Source is always a good source of fresh water and you can fast travel right to it.

The doc's house in Goodsprings has no rads when drinking from the sink or toilet. I don't know if there's others, but a quick fast travel there is pretty easy.

How about a good place to find cheap food, or even free food? Also, a bed that isn't illegal to sleep in?

Not sure about the food but there is an abandoned house in Goodsprings with a "legal" bed. Found it when I began looting every item in sight as soon as I left Doc's.
