Just curious whats everyones opinion is on whats the hardest achievement to achieve, EVER?

if you mean one that the fewest people have, or just plain hardest (as in time taken to get), you could spend forever on a couple in tiger woods 06 and never get it...haha.

personally, hardest would have to have been Free Runner on Crackdown...
...i spent a week at 496/500, and looked EVERYWHERE, and so i had to restart the game, and then did each orb one-by-one with a numbered guide. but it felt good to get it.

A few hard ones in my games are Hardcore on PGR3 and Rank 1 on THP8.

The hardest one though would proberly be Greatest Rayman Ever (Get 183,000 points in Rayman Raving Rabbids) Anyone who gets that legit is a legend;)

They didn't get the achievement. We thought that you would have to complete it with no one using a continue. And that is ridiculously hard.

i feel ur pain dude, i did all the achievements on TWO accounts before finding out it was glitched, then decided not to do it on my main one because its glitched. as for the hardest achievement, i know chromehounds and wsop: all in r some of the hardest games, but neither have one impossible achievement, so i would have to say rayman, cuz i played the demo and the apoint of points mentioned before is CRAZY if u can get it legit

A good 25 people or so have a 1000 in GRAW.

Hardest 1000 ever is Final Fantasy. There's 40-50 characters and you have to max out the levels for every single one. Guy from IGN did it and taken him 700 hours to get one of the characters to the max needed. 2 People have only ever done this. ;)

What about Texas Hold 'Em? Anybody gotten all 200 points in that game yet? As far as a game as a whole, I think Dead or Alive 4 has the hardest achievements (well DoAX2 is probably the most time consuming). The 100 wins on both Survival modes and the achieve SS rank are ridiculously tough.

Check MGC out...last time I checked there were around 24+ people with 1000/1000 in this game...To even Break 900 in this game you need to have gotten at least one of the Leaderboard achievements....many of us already will sit at 896..For AWHILE!:eek:

I got a friend who goes buy the Tag of REALLY DOE..Don't know if its legit. but he has 1000/1000 in Lost Planet,GRAW1,GOW,RB6:Vegas,BF2:MC,Quake 4, and COD3...And many other hard ones.

My thought on the hardest achievement ever would be Extreme Soldier in Lost Planet..which is 150 GS but thats 11 missions,that are insanely hard, but have and can be done..I will be approaching 900 kills till Seriously in the next 2 days so I crossed that one off. I honestly think its the Leaderboard achievements in GRAW.

Your wrong. The GRAW 1000 club is growing fairly rapidly. I'm currently at 968 and would of hit the thousand about 10 weeks ago if it was'nt for the GS league on this site.

Solo leaderboard can be achieved in 2 weeks
Team leaderboard takes approx 5 weeks
Universal takes 6-8 weeks.
These assume you have minimum 2 accounts and are prepared to boost/play circa 20-22 hours a day!


Now noone has managed it yet but you could in theory be number 1 on all three boards at the same time, depending on how many high ranked friends you have.

Some people tried to keep boosting to stay at the top of the leaderboards but a hardcore unit can topple them ( I know myself, Mace, Pseidon ) managed to topple the last asshole that tried that with all three of us getting universal in a 24 hour period!

Basically anyone could get these achievements if they are prepared to put in the hours theres nothing hard about them other than be determined to get them! It takes no skill just patience and the odd bit of maths lol

To me a 'hard' achievement is one that takes skill to unlock it.

Well you could always try getting 'premium reward 6' on Over-G fighters.

I got 970 on over G. Last achievement is a bitch. Play for an age to build your rank up in order to be able to qualify for last achievement. Goto bed wake up to find you have deranked thru inactivity.

The hardest achievement(s) out there are the Final Fantasy Achievemnts. They are extrememly boring to get and take way too much time. If not those then the G.R.A.W. leaderboards achievement.

In Halo 2 vista you must kill 7 enemies in Single player without being spotted...It is so hard to get a stealth achievement in a game were the AI can magically detect you, not even the arbiters camo helps this one.

If you think I'm joking about the hardness of this, check my achievements, its one of the last 3 for halo 2 that I'm having trouble with.

So far, I can only manage to kill 5 people stealthily then BAM!! I'm spotted! The only way anyone's gonna get this is if their lucky or they fix this achievement.

The one to get a video in the top 25 in the world on Burnout Revenge is a bitch to get, as is Master of Ceremonies in RS:V, I did get MoC though on accident. Hehe.

One's that require skill, like hard mode in GRAW where a bullet kills you if it hits your little toe, should be the ones that are difficult but the cheap ones will always be more difficult.

How about ones that look like they will be difficult but actually aren't, like Close Quarter Combatant in CoD3? I thought it would be really difficult to do a mission without using a bullet but it was quite possibly the easiest 100 GP's I have ever got, I didn't even die whilst doing it.

one of the hardest is definently surviving seven days in infinity mode in Dead Rising. Your health is constantly going down, there is very little food, and more zombies always show up. In real time it will take over 15 hours of time. Its not only time consuming, its a bitch to beat. I got past 2 days and then died when i had to answer the phone. i said screw this. then i stopped.

psst, all you need to do is use a sniper rifle. the achievement doesnt actually require you to assassinate them, just not be spotted. load up outskirts, take the sergents sniper, kill the grunt in the hallway, climb up on to the rooftops, snipe out 6 more enemies while you move thruogh the level, hooray achievement unlocked

also hardest achievement i can think of is beating earth defense force on hardest difficulty. it has brought grown men to tears

I would have to say two of the hardest achievements are Heavyweight in GRAW and Seriously ... in GOW. Just because the amount of time you have to put in the game in order to get 10,000 kills. My roommate just barley got the Seriously ... achievement in GOW the other day. I managed to up my GS by almost 25,000 by the time he got that achievement worth a huge 50 points. Also the Legend achievement in Halo 2 can be very hard. I beat it on my xbox years ago and thought it was so easy, not anymore or at least not on my slow ass PC that can barley play the game.)

Seriously is definitely the most time consuming achievement I've ever went for....BUT I have full 1250 gamerscore on Crackdown, My last few agility orbs were in Volk in the shipyard and in Los Muertos on some low lying buildings(try and just run around on the streets for a little bit) and at the boss areas in Los Muertos go all the way out to the rocks, there are a few agility orbs out there you can't see on land(more specifically out by Alvarez and Gonzalez)

Well, I agree with most of these. I think Free Runner is incredibly difficult. I'm not saying it's impossible or that no one's gotten it, it's just extremely time consuming. I have 491/500 and I can't even think of where the other orbs are because I could swear to you I cleared every island, every boss area everything. I beat the game on Psychotic and being the stupid kid I am, resurrected the gangs before going through every island. :(:(:(

I think all of the others just take time. The texas hold em is hard only because even if you get a royal flush, if everyone folds and you dont make cash off of it, it doesnt count, so you have to slow play the best hand available when you really want to clean someone out. thats what makes it tough.

I would like to distinguish here between achievements where it has to be in "your fingers", need "pure luck" and need "dedication, patience and time".

If I would have to name an overall hardest achievement it must be the hand completion achievements in the various poker games, just because you only can influence them to some degree while the rest is pure luck. Getting a Royal Flush is so rare, so those achievements are the hardest in my eyes, because the rest I have an impact on.

Many, many great responses. Again, it is subjective. Some of us can accomplish certain achievements easier than others can. Two friends of mine that are great at Guitar Hero 2 got together and nailed the 1mil pair in one shot. Im not ready for that yet, but working at 5-starring every song on Hard and Expert is my next big goal.
I also think the Royal Flush achievements in Texas Hold'em and WSOP: ALL IN are rough too, simply because they are chance-based rather than skill-based. A buddy of mine is going nuts with that one, lol.

hardest offline achievment is get rank 1 on project 8 and hardest online is general on cod3 or maybe quake 4 paly 5000 matches. I think completing dark agent solo pdz was more difficult.. Its also definitely the "no crash victories" of the fps, because WAY to many people have it, from saves. pops out of order for them tho :)

Yeah I had someone pop online on my friends list with 1000 in PDZ a week or so ago where they had 200 the day before. I think hes on your friends list so you probably noticed it as well. Lol, hes not subtle about it and hes got a load of out of order stuff.

I have never tried PDZ on hard, I hated that campaign and I know I would not enjoy it. I think the hardest FPS achievement would be exemplary for BF2:MC-maximum stars on all missions and trials. I Brought a pre-owned BF2:MC and the disk never worked for more than 5 minutes so I never got to play that game much but I knew a guy who has been playing BF since release and he got his exemplary a week ago and sent a mass voice message to all his friends which he sounded like he was crying when he got the achievement.

I just said No Fear as its the toughest one in the games I own., I just did them all on moderate and it didn't give me the moderate achievement so I wont even attempt it on extreme as I don't think it will give me it.

In my opinion most multiplayer achievements are not hard but time consuming and can usually be boosted. But leaderboard achievements are always impressive, even though they pritty much have to be boosted(quake, GRAW, Chromehounds). I saw a guy with 1000 in GRAW and Quake4. Buzz360, amazing account, like 99.99% completion with legit 1000 in RR6 and RRXX. Dude must be a beast.

You know, now that I think about it... If the achievement is hard or time consuming. I think time consuming achievements are somewhat more satisfying don't you agree?. Like even though you can do a difficult achievement it's either hit or miss... so if your failing... you don't feeling like you're progressing where as when your doing a grinding achievement ( doa xtreme, gears seriously, r6 elite ) you're constantly progressing so it's rather a more enjoyable experience i'd assume. I am trying to get every achievement I can so far, and I'm doing quite well. Just what I think about the whole thing.

I just try to stay clear of having to play a game because I want to get the points rather than wanting a challenge or enjoying the game itself.

Those are mostly time consuming achievements and not difficult. I am stating facts by the amount of ppl who have attained them. DDR 1 was the second hardest, at that time just because there was only 2 people who did it legit. I was able to complete it myself not too long ago.

DDR2 Now currently has zero people but im attempting to pull that off too. Guitar hero is a complete joke compared to DDR in difficulty.

There are pages of people who have done it. Yeah theres some game savers but doesn't change the fact that many people have done it.

The Graw and all the other leaderboards, is just a state of time and you will be working towards your goal. But for games like DDR or Ravin rabbids or Robotron and Joust. These games you'll never be able to accomplish unless you have some type of talent. Thats just my 2 cents. Seriously im just going to complete the Guitar heroes next because people keep saying its the hardest stuff. It aint, extend your library more.

I'm lost, is this about the actual hardest achievement in the complete catalog of 360 games, or the hardest achievement in personal opinion?

Because tbh, no achievement that isn't glitched is impossible to acquire i doubt the developers would put them there if they weren't achievable, it all depends on the players skill level (and perhaps patience)

But if its the latter, i found Mile High Club on CoD4 and Aperture Science on portal were pretty solid

Mile High is very doable... It's tough, but it doesn't compare to Quake's "Number One - Achieved the number one rank on the All Gametypes leaderboard." If you think Mile High was hard, try to be the best player in the world at Quake! As far as Guitar Hero, all I can say is buy a DanElectro (http://www.danelectro.com/guitars1.htm)!

i agree that the free runner achevement is the hardest and the games score is not worth it in my opinion

according to what I read in Game Informer the #1 rated achievement is "Zombie Genocide" on Dead Rising. I think it was the December 06' or January 07" issue.

Really? It takes time, but I'm sure it could be achieved fairly easily if you put the effort in.

I would say the hardest is probably Saint in Dead Rising. Considering that the achievement is to save 50 people, and you can only save 53 in total, it would take considerable skill.

Well for me I'd have to say Racket lord in Saints row, Its very hard for me to complete the different activities.

I got the racket lord achievement but it took me ages to do all the hitman levels

Well there is a whole list of achievments that take ALOT of time or ALOT of skill to achieve. I feel like i need to list some :) these are the hardest ive encountered.

Bomberman (Not a fun game) has an achievement requiring you to grind for years to get, like destroying 1 million blocks, as far as i know, only 1 person has ever done it.

My personal hardest was "Mile High Club" on veteran for Call of Duty 4. I'm definitely proud to have accomplished it after approx. 10 hours of playing that stupid mission over and over. Accidentally shot the hostage a couple times. Finally beat it by just jumping to the hostage and then shooting terrorist point blank in the face.

My other hardest achievement and most satisfying was "Little Rocket Man" for Orange Box.

Another achievement is the one on Gears of War "Seriously..." which is 10k kills online. That's extremely time consuming. I'll attempt it when I get the game tho =].

Depends on what you mean by hard. Hard as in time consuming like Seriously in Gears or General in COD3. Or hard as in score 750,000 points in GH3 that only the most skilled players can achieve. If the second one, that is definatly the hardest achievement I can think of. You have to nearly FC Ttfatf on expert to obtain it. Its insanity.
