How do you think this game will hold up?

Well, this part sounds cool. Sounds like it will again, be pretty fuckin' creepy. Condemned is still my favorite game on the 360 overall. But how do you think the next part holds up?

Now this, sounds stupid... I know they mentioned a "...new fighting system" but how exciting does it sound running at low speeds with a metal stick sound? Doesn't sound too br00t4l to me... But oh well, good games always get ruined right?

I liked the 1st one. Those blasted manicans were creepy. I will play the 2nd one. Online sounds interesting I just hope they don't have 700 points tied up in it. I hate online achievements other than co-op.

I never had a problem with the fighting. But if you go back and think about it, it's too slow paced in my opinion, to be consider t3h br00tal. But that's just me. They did however mention that there will be like a new fighting system or whatever, so that may change that.

i think guns will be more important, at least for multiplayer... although beating people with blunt objects will be fun, eventually that would get old online i think. and guns take more skill to aim and fire.

But I definately agree that it will most likely get old, but then again, every game gets old after a certain point. But I'm more interested in the Single Player aspect of this game.

This is gonna be sick i loved the first one aswell, definatly one of the best on 360 but it fucked me off when the gold bird achievement didnt unlock but still a class game so i played through twice. The second one will be so cool especially online because the best online game to date is F.E.A.R we all know that and its made by same team so how on earth can it fail?????

Though I doubt it will, it can fail quite easily. Many games had wonderful beginnings and horrible sequels. Kind of like Tony Hawk, Call of Duty, Ghost Recon, Perfect Dark, etc. But I will agree F.E.A.R had a pretty fun online feel. It was almost like a PC game on the console. Most PC - CONSOLE games can't pull that off.

I liked the original and judging by the video footage, there looks to be quite a few more death animations and ways to kill people than to just beat or shoot them to death.

I'm really pumped for this game, I loved the first and can't wait to get my hands on the sequel. I just hope that a lot more of the environment is useable, and I agree I hope they keep the game as scary as the original.

It's pretty dang short. It can easily be beaten in one night if you're determined enough.

To me this is bigger news than H3, Condemned rocked my Gamer world at the 360 Launch, I couldn't put the freaking game down. Almost every evening of playing it was in the dark, surround sound on, AI's jumping out and scaring a load of Havana brown cigars out of me and anyone else in the room. The sounds from other rooms the breathing, grunts and steel hitting skull mixed with the sounds of aggression made the players become a part of the game and not just a player.

A lot of thought went into the design and scare factor of Condemned and I hope it will carry over as well. If the single player is as near as good as C.O. I will be very happy launch date camper. I hope the Part 2 will be a winner as well! Thanks for the great news and thread! Looking forward to part II of the 360's best game ever!

Ok so yous all have good comments but i am going to say different...i really thought the gameplay got very old playing through it and the achievements weren't great...idk if i will get the second 1 when i was really disappointed with the first 1

I would actually like to see this game go more in the direction of Breakdown on the original xbox. Hand to hand combat only, no firearms whatsoever. Of course smashing a bums face in with an iron bar before setting him on fire would be fun too.

It's not a big disappointment, it's a great game. I played the preview code for a big part and it's looking to shape up extremely well. It is scarier, darker, combat is better, detective work is better and the MP looks like a lot of fun. I am definitely getting this one when it comes out. But for now, I have to wait for the review code :(

i play this game at my friend's house and it was great and got me scared a couple of times. i hope the second one lives up to the first one although i think that the multiplayer will ruin it
