I keep falling to the ground and splatting...done it numerous times....definently over 25....and no achievement...any ideas? is there any way to check how many times ive splatted on the ground? thanks.

There's no total anywhere, but you might want to make sure he pancakes into the ground and makes an indent. If he just rolls out of the drop, that doesn't count. He has to take damage and do a spread-eagle indent into the ground.

Yeah theres no way to tell, but the fastest way to do it is to start a skydiver mission and just go straight to the ground then restart it. It takes a while, i was about to quit doing it before i got it. I thought i had done way more than 25 but i eventually got it. Just keep trying youll get it.

I just climbed to the top of the Empire State Building and jumped off. Sometimes he survived, but it doesn't take that long to climb back to the top.

Yeah that works too. I just said to use the skydiver missions so you didnt have to climb back up to the top. Still takes a while to load, but i just got on the computer and did it at the same time, cause you dont really need to pay that much attention, just keep restarting and holding up.

I also had a hard time with Hitch Hiker. I thought it meant any car or truck, not just when you land on a gang's car and have to fight. Got it in under five minutes when I figured that out.

i kept climbing the daily bugle building and just going over it it counts as splatting coz he pancakes when he hits the floor and you can do it 3 times in one life because the height is right.

I didnt get it on a gang car. I got it on one of the missions where you have to follow a white van and 2 police cars behind them. I just jumped on top of the police car and waited. I got it that way fine, cause you wont get knocked off so you can just sit there and not touch the controller for about 3-5 mins not quite sure if thats how long. But somewhere around there.

I found it easiest to just hop off of the building wherever I may have just started a mission,(ex. Bugle). By doing this you are still going through the game and will eventually get the achievement without really worring about it too much because there are 42 missions in all.

There is a building near the university that is near the New Goblin Mission, you can fall off it 4-5 times without dying and get this achievement. It's a building not in the university, but across the street at a corner. That's where I did it, took me like 10 minutes or so.

Just use the Daily Bugle. Thats what I used, and I got in about 5-6 deaths.

I always jump from high buildings, but i never splay, why?

Oh no, you can die and it'll count. I like most people did the Bugle because it was a 3 in 1 life combo. No Sky dive required!
