Game saves

I have a really noobish question (tired Google but that didn't help me whatsoever):

If I create a new profile, and save a game, will it overwrite my other profile games. Like for example:

Sk8tbdkid (My current profile): I save RDR in Game Save Slot 1.

Profile 2: I save RDR in Game Save Slot 1.

Will Profile 2 overwrite Sk8tbdkid's game save, or depending on which profile is logged on, they will be separate saves?

Also will this work for every game? I'm afraid of overwriting my current save files.

No, saves are attached to gamertag. If you go to the settings tab and into memory, you can find each save file attached to each gamertag. Gamertags cannot directly access save files attached to other gamertags. Some games it is possible to play co-op on another gamertag's save file if they are also playing.

Yeah they are all separate gamesave files...

I first thought this topic was about someone asking whether gamesaves are alright to use to get achievements and stuff, or what they were.
