[it's a Xbox 360 soccer jersey for the Seattle Sounders for 99,999 points for those who don't want to click on it]
This was likely a shirt offered exclusively for signing up for something, pre-ordering something, etc. Was most likely offered by code but technically needs a "price" so they put it the max.

For certain shirts, pants, hats etc that were only availble for a specific promotion period- they get set at this price once that promotion period goes away. So basically MS was too lazy to delete the item alltoghther and instead set a high price that they knew no one would purchase it at.
*edit- I think litepink's answer is more accurate then mine.

I hate how they charge for avatar stuff in the first place. I don't think that many people even buy it (at least I hope not). There needs to be more games that have unlockable avatar awards like L4D2.

Then whats the point of charging that many microsoft points when I can`t buy it for that many microsoft points? Microsoft of course can`t be botherd to take the item off their servers.

That's stupid, they done this for Halo: Reach aswell so companys could review it and people with MS hacks bought it.
