Manga readers, what are some of your best and favorite villains? It can be any villain from any manga you've read. You can include some anime villains if you want as it doesn't really make a difference.
My first mention goes to Griffith/Femto from Berserk. I don't think I've hated a fictional character as much as him. Nothing prepares you for his bastardness...
During the "Eclipse", he sacrifices his own men/army and feeds them to demons in order to become one himself (Femto). These are men that grew up with him on the battlefield.
After becoming a demon, he then rapes Guts' lover, Casca, REALLY BADLY in front of him. Guts can't do anything but watch in horror because he's pinned down by demons. After he "finishes" and drops a few into her, she gets slang to the ground like a piece of meat.
Casca was pregnant with Guts' child at the time, so when the baby is born it's all deformed because of Casca's sexual relations with Femto.
Absolute shocking. It doesn't get worse than that.

Johan Liebert from Monster. Manipulative. Cunning. Cold. Charming. Clever. Charismatic. Cruel. This man is Evil incarnate. Makes Light Yagami look like a little school girl.

From Bleach...
Aizen Sosuke. Trolled an entire manga and its fanbase. Nothing more needs to be said.

Haguro Duo from Wolfen Crest. Not even gonna go into what he's done because it's just too shocking. 100% pure sicko.

Aizen for sure.
I give Freeza a shoutout because he was the first fight I've ever seen that took 10 episodes to finish.
Cell is one of my all time favs.
Treize Khushrenada from Gundam Wing- the epitome of politician with too much power. I'm almost certain he taught Aizen how to smirk through life.
There's more but I'm feeling too lazy to think.

Took the words right out of my mouth.
Since when were you under the impression that I took those words right out of your...oh crap, it's just not the same any more without Aizen in our world and the hypnosis worn off. :( :p
Aizen for sure.

I agree with all of those, Hatter. Treize Khushrenada? Oh, man I used to love that man so (no homo lol) much as a villain. I won't lie, when I was a kid and I saw him lose his life in that battle against Wufei, it made me sad. :(
Oh, man, it's been years since I saw Gundam Wing. That was my second anime I'd ever watched, with DBZ being the first, of course. Never read the Gundam manga to be honest, but I have heard good things.
And it's funny you should bring up the whole Treize/Aizen thing, because I honestly saw a few simmilarities between them a few years back. First was the simmilar hair, the whole army/military behind him, ruthless tyrant etc etc.
And they both drink tea. :)

I don't read manga but the closest I've read to it is Scott Pilgrim. Gideon Graves is a DICK as the novel says multiple times lol.

Who else did I forget? Most shameful of me. Good guy he became, but he was still evil to the core.

*slaps forehead*
Thanks, Taka. How could I forget the Prince??? I'll tell you what, the guy is iconic in that people that have never seen more than two eps of DBZ know who he his.
When he turned into a "family man", I thought he was lost. He was arrogant, spiteful and powerful- and all of these things couldn't keep a good alien down. Once he showed up in the Buu Saga with that scrawled M, the saiyan Prince returned. That's probably why I liked Grimmjow so much.
Arrogant to a fault- but f#$$#$ cool. They're not thinkers or giant plot- destroy the world- type fellows, but they bring both heroes to understand that they (Goku/ichigo) are only steps from becoming these guys.

One of my favs, blurring the line of villian and hero- but he is still one of my favorite looking characters.

How could I forget. Admiral Kizaru from One Piece is just the illest villians I've seen of late. Defies the traditional view of a villian who is either "too super-smart for his own good" or "power hungry", Kizaru is just freaking laughs when he shows up. He talks in a whiney, sing songy voice but he's powerful as hell. Remind me a lot of Bleach Captain Kyouraku who's strong but not really caring too much at the fight at hand.
For anyone who hasn't seen this pimp in action, go to hulu and look up episode 401 for his first appearence. Man kicks all sorts of ass and doesn't seem to care. Trust me. And the guy kicks the speed of light. C'MON!!!

EDIT: if you are watching it on hulu, he appears at the 6:40 mark :)

100% agree on Aizen, dude needs to die, but don't forget about Gin, I would say that he almost seems worse. Always smirking with his overly squinty eyes !!
And I didn't hate him and he went good guy not long after, but Kenpachi Zarachi is possibly the coolest villiain ever, even if he wasn't one long.
Also I seriously hated Crocodile from One Piece, he didn't piss me off because he was really evil, but more because I just didn't like him.
And Pain from Naruto, he's kind of on the bottom of the list, but he was still a pretty bad dude.

Kenshin. Villain is Shishio Makoto.
I agree on him, he was pretty bad, but I actually hated the Japanese government from the story more than Shishio after reading this part. Almost seemed like he was just some sort of puppet in the whole thing.

Madara is the current numero uno but I like the paradoxical nature of Light in Death Note (the sort of was he good, was he bad)

Couldn't find a pic, so I linked a vid clip from the anime.
A large red bull with an RPG? Greatest villain ever!

Haguro Duo wins it for me. I can't find of anyone that's made me feel physically sick like he did. Props to the writer for turning him into the greatest villain in my experience with manga.

Aizen needs to have mention for sure, but that's not because he trolled an entire manga, Kubo was just under his ability.
The Madara/Tobi pair in latest Naruto is great. Nothing is better than a well developed, rational villain with a good past.
"Father" from FMA and Orochimaru from days of old Naruto were both great as well.

Aizen for sure!
I like how you did the spoiler, btw. It keeps the forum clean and easier to load on my phone :)
