Career contracts question.

Im currently on my 3rd season on hard, won al 17 of the races so far, just 2 to go... I have a contract offer from Red Bull to be their number 2, however i would quite like to stay with Mclaren.

but mclaren have not made an offer for the following season... might they make an offer after the final race? I just have a worry that If mclaren dont make an offer and i dont accept red bulls offer they will withdraw the offer, will i be left with no race seat for the next season?

its a bit odd but im just confused by it.

I would make a back up save at this point. Play out the season and load up that save if the offer gets taken back.

i had this but with driving for red bull and only had an offer off ferrari [and most other smaller teams, although force india an renault did withdraw their offer before the end of the season...] after the end of the season the ferrari offer was still on the table and red bull didnt offer me a new deal, it wont let you progress to the next season without signing a new contract though

Im with Red Bull atm and would love to stay but I just finished season 3 and even tho I won wdc and the constructers they didnt come out with an offer.

I'd chose Alonso as my "rival" so I had a Ferrari offer for 22mil, I noticed I couldnt reject it, the option to refuse it was grayed out.

I finished the last race and went to continue but as above noted the game will not allow you to progress I got a "contract required" message.

so now Im with Ferrari.

I used the search and this was the clostest thread i could find for my question.

I just checked my contracts for the first time and i have about 5 different offers from crappy teams. Do more offers come along of do i just have to choose from these ones. I am currently on race ten of the season. I would like to hold out but dont want the berst of the crappy teams to back out on me.

When you get about 2/3rds of the way in, the media will ask who you see as your rival this season. You'll get 3 options.
It happened to me once I asserted myself as being involved in the title race. Once they took me seriously they asked who I saw as my rival (I think it was around race 12, not sure)

i think its the 9th or 10th race in. If u beat ur rival u will get a contract for that team
