Demanding a Trade

So i hear in this years my player mode you can demand a trade, does anyone know if this is true? and if so when can you demand one...say at the begining of the season or do you have to hate untill your a certain overall like on mlb's my player.

You can demand a trade after playing 5 games with the current team. You can give 3 options on where you want to go, but its up to that team where you end up going. Not you.
