Condemned 2: Bloodshot Announced

SEGA announced (http://www.joystiq.com/2007/05/10/condemned-2-bloodshot-announced-with-multiplayer-for-ps3-and/) that it there is indeed (http://www.xbox360fanboy.com/2007/03/13/rumor-condemned-sequel-sentenced-for-fall/) a sequel planned for Xbox 360 launch title Condemned: Criminal Origins in early 2008. The Xbox 360/Playstation 3 multiplatform Condemned 2: Bloodshot will continue the storyline of the original, as well as provide online multiplayer, which will have "the most brutal hand-to-hand combat experience the first person genre has ever seen." The funny part is that that sounds surprisingly similar to the "review" describing it as "A superb sequel of brilliantly brutal bloody hand to hand brawling..." Our only question is, will you run faster with a knife (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=olm7xC-gBMY)?

Yeah The whole 970 points thing kinda set my OCD into overdrive. But as for the majority on here, I'm very glad they are continuing the story. And hopefully they'll make this one even scarier.

Yah, I am soooo excited for this, to bad we still have to wait 6+ months because it is set to launch in early 08. Condemned is great, with multiplayer C2 will be awesome too. Man, this is gonna be sweet. Even if is on par with the first just with tighter graphics, this will be a smash hit. No one really knows about the first one. Once my friends saw it, they all went out and bought it so hopefully this one is good. It would be really dissapointing if it wasn't as good as the original. I still cant get over the online multiplayer, I really want it to be a whole 1000 though. Why did they settle for 970, just make one achievement worth 30 more points?????

I thought the original was going to be really bad as the reviews weren't exactly glowing - but I loved it. Hope the sequel is more of the same.

When I played through the first one I was literally terrified. I sit in a seat that is about 3-4 inches off the floor and jumped out of it many of times. The thrills just keep you into it the whole time. Keeps you on edge until you fall off. I loved it and I can't wait until the new one...
