Switching to Black Spidey questions

So how does that work? Do you re-do all of the missions...? Like the whole game or just the combat/bank/bomb/crime missions?

Basically, what exactly will it do when I say to switch to black spidey for all the missions?


Also, I read in one of the threads a few days ago somebody talking about playing as Venom... is that something you can unlock or did they just mean playing w/ black spidey?

I personally haven't beat the game yet but I am pretty sure you can only play as the black symbiote suit spider man. The only other playable character is the new goblin and that 's only for PS3 (BOO)

when you beat the game you unlock the black suit if you switch to it then yes you can redo all the missions id sujest doing the combat tours with the black suit

I'm not gonna attempt any time trials, combat tours etc, with the red suit. i'm waiting to finish the game then work on the combat tours... good advice.

How about during the game when it changes you into black suit after you beat sandman, do you ever change back to red or do you remain in black for the rest of the game?

You change back into red. You rip apart your alien suit, and it falls onto Eddie Brock (who becomes Venom).

I'm not sure how many missions you play in the end while red (can't remember off the top of my head) but I know it's at least the last Venom/Sandman battle.

Once you beat all the main missions, you're given the option to press start, and go to playable characters and change into black spidey.

You keep the black suit up until you choose to do the Mary Jane Scare Ride. After completing that you switch back to the red.
