Now, don't get me wrong, I would love to see Stangers Wrath come to Xbox360. I've not had the chance to play it, but another Oddworld game cannot be bad.
But.
I personally would rather see good old Abe and his 2-D deliciousness make a return instead. The thing I adore about the XBLA is how the games kind of, take you back. Even some of the newer ones, I find myself thinking "Oh this is like, such and such".
I've written about my wanting to see Abe come into the XBLA plenty of times on this site, but this news item has broken me in a way. I want the 2-D goodlyness that echoes games of decades past, not sprawling 3-D landscapes to explore. Thats what retail is for IMHO. But thats not to say I wouldn' give the trial a blitz.
Reading through the comments of the Oddworld news item, I can see that Im not the only one who would rather see Abe possess a Slig and run him into a meat grinder where his buddy can see. If you are one of these people, please show your love here. Maybe we can all persuade JAW to get the Mudokons in motion, who knows.
