I mean, maybe it's just my personal opinion, but does EA actually expect people to buy a game that they will probably be able to beat and get all the achievements on in a few hours of play? I know, I know..."its a comic/movie tie-in" game, but Spiderman is at least somewhat challenging to get all the achievements on in a short period of time! I mean, I sure dig the fact that I can add 1000 points to my gamerscore for a game I will probably enjoy RENTING!!!!

Actvision is behind the game, not EA. I think the game isn't going to be good to begin with lol.

Some companies don't care about the achievement system, this appears to be one of them. They just wanted to cash in on the FF franchise, and I'm sure they will. I'm fine with it, easy 1000 and at least a C-grade comic game are alright by me.

Yah, I bet a lot of little kids will rent it but I am spending 7 bucks at Hollywood and not 59.99 at gamestop.

Yeah definitely a rental. Good way to boost achievements though.

Although they took some of the better parts from Marvel: Ult. Alliance in creating this one, it's just like 98% of licensed games. I think the ONLY licensed game I've ever bought has been... Chronicles of Riddick: Butcher Bay. And I wouldn't even really classify that as a true "licensed game", even though it technically was.

well I really don't know how bad or good the game is but according to IGN preview the game was a lot better than the previous game
May 31, 2007 - The Fantastic Four have been far from fantastic on consoles. The last FF game, based on the 2005 feature film, was terrible. With a streak of mediocre movie-licensed games (including Spider-Man 3, Surf's Up, and Pirates of the Caribbean 3), the prospects for a good title based on the Fantastic Four sequel were looking grim. But guess what? Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer is actually pretty good.

It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be but I had plenty of "stuck" moments where i was ready to send it back to gamefly, only to have the answer be stuck behind a bad camera angle or something like that. I played it once, maxed out the thing and will have DiRt tomorrow :-)
