Corrupted Save

Just a friendly heads up to everyone, this happened to me and I don't know if it was my disc, my xbox or a full-on glitch, because I have read about people getting it on gamespot forums... basically I beat the 2nd Dr. Conners mission and then hit A to skip the cut-scene, and the loading screen came up between the cut-scene and going back into NY free-roam... but it never went away. I exited to the dashboard and loaded the game back up, hit start to enter the game and the load screen came up... but it never went away. So, a mere mission away from the end, I can not get back into my game.

Like I said, not sure if it could happen to everyone or I was just unlucky, but watch the cut-scene just in case. :)

Well my game has crashed on me once already, During the Kingpin fight. If mine where to become corrupted, I would probably give up with it to be honest.

This is exactly what happens to me. It just stays on the screen saying 'loading' with the spinning logo forever. I have to quit to dashboard (Which sometimes doesn't work). Sometimes I can get into the game but it could stop at any moment, sometimes I would stop while swinging, spider-man would be frozen but I can still move the camera, cars are moving and I have to quit to dashboard.

I thought it was corrupted save, but when I do manage to get into it, I can do about one mission, it overwrites old save then later on it stops during another loading scene. It's incredibly frustrating, I can't play a game that I paid money for.

Exactly the same happened to me, on the final punch to kill him on like my 10th attempt

OMG... i sympathise with you guys. It happened to me with NFS MW. It would crash 3 times in five minutes.. Sometimes before winning a tough boss battle.

I hope that doesn't hapeen in this game...

this game has crashed on me over and over again and now my xbox that has never had a problem is messing up and i have to send it in spiderman is cursed lol

thanks for the heads up i have not gotten that far, i will be shure to not skip any cut scenes just in case thats what happend.

Question: Ok guys, I was on the last lizard mission. I had defeated Kraven twice and was fighting the ultra lizard ( btw: the controls to throw this dam lizard are all screwed up )..anyways....every time I failed to defeat the ultra lizard and retried I would appear right back in that room, fighting the ultra lizard. After much missing the dam generators I decides to quit by choosing "try something else" instead of "retry". After taking a break I went back to try again only to find out that i had to do the mission from the very beginning all over again ( the last lizard mission that is ). Is this the way the auto save works for this game? ( that sucks ) or did i do something wrong?

If you quit a mission, it pretends you never even tried it and you have to do the whole thing over again.

OK. I just finished the kingpin mission and then did the crime spree achievement and now i don't have any more story missions left. But i have yet to get all the story achievements. CAN SOME1 PLEASE HELP?

Go to the daily bugle and talk to the guy there. I had this and after much stumbling around not getting much done i came across this. I think it might be the mission where you tear the black suit off ond infect that twisted reporter guy and turn him into venom. I think!!!!!
