Ive been holding out to buy this game for a while now. Ive been hearing mixed reviews for awhile from IGN. I hear this game is GREAT at times but i also hear it SUCKS really bad! So im asking you what do you think? Will this game take me time to get all the achievements or is it a KING KONG game? PLease Help ME OUT!

Round abouts 700 shouldnt take you more then a couple of days depending on how much you play. As for liking it, its a good free roaming game with some standout moments like the quick button pressing cut scenes but there are a few things like repetitive fighting that let it down a little. Rent it and decide for yourself.

How would you rate the game 1-5
like a
3, or 4.5 ?

i would give it a 2.5
idk it might not have been that bad, but with the disapointment of the movie i just couldnt play the game.

def a renter either way though, do not buy.

I'd give it a 3.5, very good first time round but once youve finished the only playability left is to find tokens around the city. Not sure what the movie matters because the game is VERY loosely based on the movie with loads of extra characters in it. If you like spiderman and usually trade your games in after you have completed them then go for it, otherwise wait for the price to drop, but everyone has different opinons i guess

I bought it..but would recommend renting it. I personally feel there is no replay value what so ever. Besides, pretty soon people are going to start posting maps with the locations of all the tokens ( at least i'm hoping so..lol )
and that's going to cut down the time, that people are going to finish the game in.

I completely agree that this game is definately a rent first in order to see how far you get throughout the game during that time. I also find NO replay value in this because the game becomes very repetitive because fighting thugs or whoever gets old fast. The only reason that it would take long is the collecting the tokens and possibly getting gold on the races. Other than that I am really looking for the maps for tokens to come out too lol.

Yeah I was going to buy this game after I get the Seriously Achievement is Gears of War. I have heard good and bad things but from what you guys have written it seems like it is alot like Spider-Man 2. Is it?

I liked the amount of missions that were available to you at first, and also the interactive cutsceens. However when you have completed all of the missions and have a 100% crime fighter rating there is very little replay value, this is because after you complete the missions the only real way to get any nore action is to do random city missions that do become very scarce after a day or two. This game is definatley a try and get as many achievements as you can while renting.

i think this game is awesome! except for the camera angles which can be a big pain in the butt.. oh and big mohawk guys carrying around stop signs... they can get irritating too.. in my opinion definetly a buy for anyone that is a fan of comic book heros..
