To answer your question, yes it does. Chaos mode requires three lightning spells. Like KingPinn said though, it's best to just jump past them.

Not that I did Chaos mode, but what I did in hell was just use my fully charged willpower and pushed the huge rock debris all the way down the road. That takes out tanks and uses way less magic power.

You can't move the tanks, but you throw the debris into the tanks! Like after you kill the one brain that has a single sniper under him there is a checkpoint. All around that checkpoint is huge blocks of broken down building and you turn the corner to two tanks. I just use willpower to throw that debris and it kills both tanks and all but 3-4 guys. Sometimes I have to throw it again but basically I'm making a HUGE pile of trash that I throw down the road. Kill the giant normally, do the u-turn and keep throwing the debris (now includes giant's corpse) down there and take out that tank. Etc.
Basically I fill the street with huge stones of death that will easily take out tanks. It's a bit risky because the giants will stomp and sometimes push those back at you and no one likes instant death.

Everyone else probably already knows this and I'm a noob or something, but how did you play in hell mode and not in chaos when chaos mode unlocks hell? unless you have more than one person play your account or something. but then you're whole rant thing said you were #8 legit 100k or something like that, so... yeah.

whoa whoa whoa. don't misunderstand what i was saying. He stated that he had played, on hell mode, but that he hadn't played, on chaos. something like, "Not that I did Chaos mode, but what I did in hell was..." i wasn't accusing him of cheating. i was asking how played on hell without playing chaos, because chaos unlocks hell. It was probably just the way he worded it and this is a big misunderstanding. i was just going by what he said, not by his achievements, which i probably should have checked. but like i said, i was just going by his wording.
