Apocolypse 3 Mission

I'm stuck on it now. I get all the way to the part where I throw the bomb into the water so it explodes safely, then 5 gang members come, 2 normal, 2 with stop signs, and 1 with a great axe. I kill the normal fine (of course), I kill the 2 with stop signs by jumping up, bringing them up with me in the air, and smacking them as much as I can. But I get all down to the great axe. How do you kill this guy? No matter what I do, even if I run away, he pulls me in and takes at least half of my health down.

Kwith, I had the same problem, I've tried to beat him for several times, but he still killed me with his life on 1/3 - 1/2.
I guess he could be beated by black spidey only.

keep pressing lb to counter and begin a combo then jump and Y to missle drop,you will take the henchmen early then the stop sign strong arm's shortly there-after.When it's just you and apacolypse he should be down to less then half his life, continue to use the counter-combo early jump to missle drop with Y and he'll go down.

I too had problems with this, after my 4th go id had enough, with all the other guys, jump onto the bunker, and then towards the waters and pull them to you with your web. they will fall in the water. Once all of them are dead, make the big guy follow you off the dock. [after a bit he will get so far and then run back on, just pull him towards you with your web] you notice the barriers are a lot lower off the dock, pull him near one of them and just attack like mad, one of your moves should knock him back and he goes over the edge into the water, instant death

Cool I finally did it, I never saw a health bar so I never bothered to just damage him down, so I tried doing like X+X+X+A to get up in the air, while dodging his attacks using LB and Counter attack, and then I never could get him up in the air, but I kept trying, then randomly a cutscene came up and he just fell to the ground and died :D

Jump on the roof of the building on the dock. web pull all the lower level enemies and beat the crap out of them. When just the big guy remains, i beat him (and most other big time enemies) with a constant Y button mashing, and then throw in the RB + B button once in a while to tie them up.

Here's what I did. Jump on the hangar looking building, punch him say 3 - 4 times, then on the last attack press A and jump back up, without being hurt. Repeat, and your sorted ;) I Did'nt lose any health doing this^^

I just did this mission using the suggestion that you draw the boss to the end of the dock. Then I used the RB + Y to blast him into the river.

End of mission...Sweet.

I did the jumping on the dock building strategy for the normal 4 guys. With the main guy, if you are not too good with the dodging, just continuously do jump and punch combos right in front of him. It takes time cause a simple punch only takes off small power, but it is an easy way to get it done.

i found all of these missions quite easy. I haven't got the black "spidey" suit yet.

i cant believe i didnt beat this boss sooner, i tried so many times and always got killed. i found an easy way, just bring him to the end of the pier and keep doing Y combos on him and he'll go flying into the water, easy

You have to turn off all the circut breakers before you get the bomb out of the van.

Dawn Zombie is right in that you need to get all the circuit breakers first.
Use Spidey sense vision to easily see where they are all located (they are all pretty close)
