Get the Fast Swingier Achievement Extremely easily

I got this only having just unlocked swing speed 4. Basically all you have to do is swing normally trying to pick up as much speed as possible then when you are traveling quite fast start hitting X to punch (after a swing). You then blast down the street at a stupid speed. I have gotten up to 294mph (swing speed 5) doing this. I have tested this quite a few times and you will get a super boost about 1/4 of the time.

This does work, thrust punch and fast swing your heart out and "bleep" you got it.worked for me at level 4 swing and maxed out at 208mph.

Once you've unlocked the slingshot go to the daily bugle and sling shot ur self and it clocks you at 201 mph and you get it that way easily as well.

Just wanted to add something to this. My friend had some trouble pulling it off until I mentioned you have to be swinging relitivly close to the ground. I would say about 15 or so meters. Because what happens is Spiderman basically locks onto an object while throwing the punches and zooms in on it.

go underneath one of the bridges that leave the island and it should work everytime

my brother just got this achievement it didn't work until he went to the washington bridge, i would recommend this bridge because it has less items to interfere with your swing. he tried about 10 times in the city with no results but got it on his second try under the bridge.

I got this pretty easily on the scorpion level when you have to chase him down. When he first bolted out and started running, i began swinging after him and the achievement just popped up. I really didn't do much to earn it.

ok so i found a way that works EVERY time. All you have to do is go to the daily bugle then slingshot off the top of the building THEN at the last second before hiting the ground do a webzip, works everytime.:Bounce:

Slingshot never worked for me. I just land in the pond and no achievement... I'm not sure if my game is glitched, cos it just shows 157mph is the fastest I've got and I've got Speed5. I'll try zipping before i hit the pond and the washington bridge thing. I hope my game isn't glitched.. fingers crossed

Ya man I am beginning to think mine is glitched as well. I have swing speed 5 but the fastest it shows me going in the locomotive section is 156 mph... I don't get it.

Im pretty sure that my swing speed has also glitched - I havent increased in ages, and i could swear the last speed I saw was 4. How can i tell what speed im at?

I cant do the slingshot method or the punching, with the swingshot method i alwaysdo the web line as soon as i regain control but never seem to get enough speed.

Well I was able to get this achievement once I got the Web Swing Kick. All you have to do is simply swing and then press LT + Y.

Note: you have to have unlocked this attack first. It seems like it is very similar to the swing and punch method.

Just posting to confirm that the catapult method DOES work.

For those of you who don't know where to catapult from, then you can do so on top of the Daily Bugle.

What I done, was firstly made sure that I was catapulting myself towards the lake, and proceeded with the catapulting.

As I got relatively close to the lake you land in, I started to hammer the right trigger for a webzip, and JUST before you land in the water, you gain control again, so instead of landing in the water, I webzipped.

This got me 201mph. Not much larger than 200mph, but it got me the achievement. :)
