Game list on the main page

Now that there are getting so many games on the front page, maybe its time to reorganize it a little?

And maybe just have

Games
Live Arcade
Japanese Games

On the menu to the left and have pages like this:

(only added info for the first to show how it would look like).
Any other things that could be on there?
Like maybe a icon of the game to the left of the name, or any other info that could be cool to have? like a Achievement Guide column and "Yes" with a link to it for each game?

That wouldnt be that bad of an idea as to prevent the Main Page from becoming too cluttered. This would also allow easier navigation because of the Filters.

like i said when the site first went up and stuff, once we get enough games we should put them in gene, like sports-shooters-RPG stuff like that and then arcade doesnt have that much still so keep it normal i guess. or put them like they are on the market place(boardgame-classic-sports) or whatever

i like how you have it but if we put the side to opnly saying

it would look to small or something.

i agree with scoob, when there gets to be 700 games a list like that wouldnt be efficient, i say click on games, then either shooter, rpg, adventure etc...

maybe have a search box to for the games, like if you werent sure what genre a game was in you could just type it in and it display the likely results and click on whatever you want

yeah, but the problem with that is that games can go under so many genres =/

But search is definitely an option :D

all games fall under one MAIN gene so you can do it that way and add the search since some n00bs may not knwo where it is.

like kameo could be considered a platformer and an adventure, but its mainly a platformer (or adventure, not sure just using it as an example)

You could have like the alphabetical list and limit like 25 to a page, and then have a search box for easy looking.

Or you could have a page for games starting with A, and then with B, plus a search box.

Changed to Retail Games, and "next" on Retail Games give you normal games (soon Alphabetical), live gives you live games, etc :)

And about that "next", it's a bit confusing now because when you click next you'll get to BF2 and than to Tomb Raider. But it doesn't matter, you'll gonna change it anyway. Good Job!

yeah, it isnt alphabetical now. Well, it is at some point. after 5-6 games.
The only reason for it is that its easier for me to update it since the newest games will be first on the list (from the control/administrator panel), so I don't have to look alphabetical through all games/news etc etc to find the game I'm looking for every time I want to add a new picture/gamescore.

Once the game is complete or not that frequent updated it will go in the list sorted:)

Why the first games are unorganized are explained above :) But they will be organized soon.

Yeah, We're planning on adding at least another column with if the game has an Achievement Guide or not, and maybe add a background color to make it less naked.

Hehe, yeah.

All lists should be alphabetical now (When pressing "Next" and "Previous").

The only thing in question is the "Tony Hawk's: American Wasteland".
If it should be moved back to the letter T. The only reason it was under A was the name was so long that it would screw up the menu if it had the whole name.

I'd just go with whatever it is called on xbox gamer card to keep the consistancy.

Theres more japanese games, just havent had the time to add them all.
But they will be up shortly.

And I'll change the gamenames on Tony Hawk and Oblivion. :)
