Yhea I just downloaded the game this morning and played it when I got home from school and I noticed it's actually full screen when you play! Action Stage, Adventure Stage, Cut-scene, you name it all in FULL SCREEN.

And also the gamer history picture changed quickly. I saw friends playing it hours upon release and it showed a picture with a white background that said "Sonic Adventure"(pictured above) but now it has Sonic doing his pose from the cover of the original Dreamcast release, a much better picture than its prior one(similar to the box art above, only in gamer picture form).

Would also like to add that the game is much more crisp looking than even the gamecube version and seeing as it's one of the better Sonic games you have to pick this up for 800 microsoft points it simply cannot be missed!:)

EDIT: Moderators please delete this thread, all is explained now.

I'm sure somebody is wondering...are you playing on a widescreen tv? Cause it's not that the game isn't "full screen" it's that it's limited to a 4:3 aspect ratio.

I seem to have jumped the gun when I posted this :p So obviously no I'm not playing on a widescreen lol. I remember seeing screenshots for the game and seeing that blue background and assuming that was "in-game" but apparently I got it all wrong.

As for the gamer history picture it seems to still show the Sonic Adventure one on my history on Xbox.com and here but if you pull it up from your console it will have Sonic on it instead. I hope they make the right decision and make that one the official picture.

Thanks for pointing this out I guess I never read into the whole 4:3 aspect ratio thing and had no idea it was for wide screens, but my TV isn't half bad either! ;)

Umm.. yeah - on a Widescreen TV, it's still got the blue lines. You get used to it - but I wish they would let you stretch it if you want.
