A very cool script, it does a lot of the things the game's story should have done, be warned, not for those of you who don't like swearing and hard R rated movies.

Well maybe they changed some stuff for the movie like they did in DOOM (Well they changed A LOT of stuff in DOOM and it was nothing like the game.)

If they do come out with a movie, it's probably going to be twisted just a bit. The writers and producers, always throw in some kind of weird twist.

I have to agree, Films based on games, Such as Tomb Raider will be twisted. But NOT slightly, Drastically. They will NOT and can NOT just make the film based on the actual storyline of the game, or twist that because it will be to obvious and quite frankly, boring. I'd say if they did do that, then the only people who will watch are the ones who haven't heard of Gears, Now tell me who hasn't...And the guys who LOVE Gears. So they will base it on the same concept such as character and dilemma (Locust/Emergence Day). But create a whole new story. They may even attempt to make a prequel type film show the world of Sera at its peak of destruction and how it all began.

Thats not a script. A script has the actual lines of the film/play etc. This is a fan's view of how the film would look. Imdb.com have no info on a gears film and they'd be one of the first to know.

Is that a possibility? cos that would be pretty awesome actually. But I heard the chances are that it would be out around 2009 to tie in with the release of the second gears of war game. ahhh but what if they made that a prequel lol. Who would you have playing marcus and co in the movie? I think for one they should get that Rasta guy to be Cole in it. I can't see it being a great movie.

Are you serious? You are joking right? lemme guess...Halo fanboy? No offense, but Gears was outstanding...the story may have been short, but it was still outstanding...Co-Op over XBL...THE multiplayer game that knocked HALO 2 off the leaderboard...


EDIT: Oh and for everyone who thinks that this is a "script" leak...you are sadly mistaken...if you read the original release statement about the movie being made, EPIC said they had created an extensive back story for the game itself idealy for a novel series or quite possibly a movie....my guess is that someone got ahold of the back story or has an overactive imagination...

Yes I'm very serious! And no I'm not a Halo fanboy. Many games have had Co-op over live and the only real thing I like about Gears is the graphics and thats about it..
Ps. I doubt this is the "back story" either.
