I am really excited about this game for sure. I know it wont have much in the area of "bad ass next gen graphics"(cause it wont look awesome compared to some other games)....I am really excited about it simply because I love TENCHU games!!! How can ya not love a stealth ninja that relies only on primitive distractions and tools to accomplish things that modern day heros need guns and high-end gadgets to do!!! Maybe it's just me though, I am sure someone else on here is excited like me though.....:woop: :woop: :woop:

I'll get it when the price drops to 30 or less. It looks good though.

I was extremely excited about this game. Then the gameplay trailer kind of shattered my built up giddiness. It was just such a cheesy trailer. I was hoping they'd have something more or less like a ninja gaiden theme going. So I'm still excited but just brought down by the trailer itself......

I'm pretty excited myself. I played a PS2 version (not sure which actual game it was, but one in the Tenchu series) and it was quite a bit of fun. I'm looking forward to any sort of co-op online stuff, I remember doing co-op on the previous game and it's always fun to strategize how you and a buddy are going to drop on some fools and do some neck-breaking.

This is my favorite Japanese 360 game and I did miss out on all of the move set and stuff as a result so I'll probably play it again when it comes to USA.

HELLZ YEA I'm excited about this. I got giddy when I saw that there was a trailer, and when I was enjoying the trailer experience I gave a fuk ya when they showed the multi-player action of it. I loved playing the Tenchu series on PS2. Hell, it was one of my favorite games. This is just frickin awesome that it's coming out on 360.

As for wanting it to look like ninja gaiden, if you've played the game before, it's nothing like gaiden, excpet for the ninja part, and even then, I think Rikimaru (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rikimaru) could kick Ryu's ass any day.

I'm looking forward to it. They just posted the achievements for it, and they look pretty simple, though I kinda had to chuckle at the NINJA 5. Hehehe.
It will be awesome though. :D May not look as great as other 360 games, but the fun factor will make up for it.

I've always loved the Tenchu series and the achievements look quite simple (except for 1000 stealth kills... that's gonna take a while). And online co-op sounds awesome!

I agree w/James, I too have always been a fan. I dled the Jap demo and it looks like it might be quite nice.

Oh god yes, Tenchu stole hours of my life back in the day. The DS version was absolutely awful, i'm hoping this'll make up for it.

I can't wait for this one to come out. I had the last one for the original xbox were u could play online with somebody in the story. That was really fun. They usually do a really good with this game. As long as there ant as many glitches as there were on some of the older ones this would be a perfect game to get.

Actually if you look at my achievements for the Japanese version (http://live.xbox.com/en-US/profile/Achievements/ViewAchievementDetails.aspx?tid=%09%5d%3agj*i3%01% 01) you'll see that I got the 1000 stealth kills just after I had done 30 levels. There are 50 levels in the game and if you want to 1000 the game you'll have to beat each level on three different difficulties. Granted, I play a level over and over until I get perfect before I move on so unless you do that you'll probably take longer to get 1000 stealth kills.

this game is great. the achievements are easy yet fun to get. plenty of great stealth moves and when you move up in difficulty it can be quite tasking. however, the levels look the same and the objectives repeat themselves. id give it 30 hrs before you get bored.

I have high hopes for this game. Being sent to my house as we speak. However I hope I'm not terribly disappointed because after playing the demo I wasn't that impressed...

Just got Tenchu Z yesterday. I've been a fan of the series since the first one on PS1, and I wasn't disappointed with this one. Granted the story is bare-bones, but the Tenchu series was never really about the story... it was about sneaking behind guys and slitting their throats. If you're expecting Splinter Cell in Japan, you will be disappointed. This one stays true to the series, but that's not a bad thing for me.
