I'm sitting here in the Badlands on my horse, hangin out with the buffalo, and I'm not seeing the great wolf anywhere, I'm not in a mission or anything, and I just killed the mountain lion and then I talked to the indian hunter and I don't know what's wrong...

He said it would be in the plains looking for buffalo meat...

oh now i remember...you have to get off your horse so you dont scare it. the wolf should be around the 2 little cliff things or what ever you wanna call them. just walk around behind them and he should be back there..

hay been reading about the great wolf i still cant find it at all im not in a mission or anything iv looked behind the mine and all over the flats i cant find it

I'm having trouble with this one also. I've checked behind the two peninsula cliff things you speak of and he is not there, I ditched my horse way back just to make sure.

For the guide to this game it says it can also be in blackfeet territory, where exactley is this?

Anyone help?

*EDIT* Okay so I reloaded my game and went back there and he was in the exact spot you guys speak of, weird he wasn't there before oh well thanks guys!

i had the same problem, i've pretty much had to save and reload each of my games in order to find the next animal on the hunting list.
