Is PGR2 backwards compatible?

i love PGR2 and while PGR3 is good, it just doesnt have the same lasting multiplayer (ie cat n mouse)

you can set cat and mouse up- its just gonna be a lot quicker lol

and not many people will be playing PGR2 i imagine
