I realize this is/was discussed in other threads, and I also saw that the last guy got his thread shut down for breaking this question out into a separate thread...I still have questions though, because this specific achievement is the last one I have.
Background: I've completed the game on all five levels, and I know I need cumulative "end of round" times that add up past 15 hours. I've got to be right on the edge of 15 hours.
Here's what I did last night:
I beat the game on HELL, got my 1 point achievement, but the 15 hour still didn't unlock. So I went to stage select and sat on easy level 1 for 20 minutes and completed the level...nothing, and it kicked me back to start screen. So I'm thinking (and reading here) that stage select is probably not the best way to do this, and I decide to just sit on Level 1 starting a "new" game (by using "continue"). So when I start up, it gives me no option as to what difficulty I want (because I just beat it on HELL, maybe the game assumes I want to replay that difficulty mode), I work my way all the way to the last walnut head, kill him, sit there for 2 hours and 20 minutes, complete the level, and I get nothing.
My question is basically this: If I truely start a new game...on easy, will I be adding to the time I've already invested (so maybe I need another hour or two)? Or will it reset the clock completely, and I need to let this run for 15 hours?
Thanks, and I hope I elaborated enough for this thread to be remain open.
