achievement progress carrying over through playthroughs?

right....

its an odd question to ask, but ive recently finished the campaign and got all but 2 achievements doing so ("that wheel?" and "stay after class" left).

the first one f the two doesnt seem much of a problem as i get to play through an awesome game again, but the latter is bugging me..

the review page where you can see all your accomplishments during the single player (for those of you who didnt know), says im on 8/10 chalkboards reverted.

I was wondering if when i start a second playthrough will this tally be reset to 0? Or will i only have to revert 2 more chalkboards during my second playthrough to get this achievement?

Im not sure but you could always get a usb stick and plug it into the xbox, go into memory tab and copy your save to the usb stick, so you have 1 copy on hard drive and 1 copy on usb stick, boot up the game, load save from usb stick and see what happens

I remember reading that someone got the stay after class achievement after getting only 2 boards on their second play through...

Just a heads up, reverting old chalk boards in the present isnt the only path to getting this achievement, you can also age the chalk boards in the past.

EDIT:

I know the roadmap says that on starting a new game you lose progress for everything. I finished the game on hard yesterday missing 1 chalkboard. I start a new game on easy get the to the first chalkboard and revert and i got the achievement. I would have to say that the only progress you would have to start over on is the TMD upgrade stuff everything else stays.
