Okay, so I'm an Australian who unfortunately has to wait months for American shows to reach me, if at all :((At least we still get 24 and now Heroes despite the longer wait).
I've read about this new show starring Nathan Fillian called 'Drive' that's only recently begun airing in America (up to ep.3 I think at time of writing). It sounds pretty sweet in concept and I'm very keen to check it out, so I thought if there are any Americans reading this who have been watching the show if you could give me and probably any other Aussies on the site your impressions of the show.

I actually saw it the 2 hr season premiere and the next hour the following day so its been 3 episodes and not much has been explained about the race which is keeping at the edge of my seat...I strongly recommend you watch it when it arrives in your country...if you have HDTV ITS AWESOME ON THE FREEWAY SCENES!!!!

Not sure if I'm allowed to say, but I've seen the first few episodes and it seems okay to me. Nothing brilliant, but then the concept behind the story means it can't take itself too seriously. Just hoping it isn't cancelled mid season like some other tv shows.

I've been hearing you really have to suspend disbelief and go along with the plot cause it's supposedly pretty over the top and far fetched in terms of how deep the race goes and how they seem to plant agents everywhere.
Of course, I still havn't seen it but I'm prepared to put my popcorn TV hat on :)

Fox already canceled it.

Supposidly The ratings for the Lead-in portion of 24 dropped drastically when Drive was on.
However, they probably didnt take into account that HEROS premiered the same night their ratings dropped. Fox has always been TERRIBLE about cancelling Good shows before giving them a real chance.
There is 9 unaired episodes that have already been filmed for DRIVE. So hopefully they will at least show them at some point. If not I'll be buying it when it comes out on DVD.

i've seen a couple episodes and though it don't suck completely (high speed freeway chases are cool) the plot is real think and real shady just not enough to draw me in heart and soul like prison break did ........ i'd rather watch the riches then drive

Yea, I actually really enjoyed this show. Downloaded the episodes on the internet and watched them on my comp, it was a pretty decent show. Was disappointed to see that they canceled it. Supposedly they might error the rest of the episodes sometime in the the near future on like a Friday night timeslot or somethin..

I had a feeling it was canceled. *Sigh...that was actually one of the few shows I kept up with. No wonder the Simpsons and Family Guy always knocks on FOX. I understand it's an inside joke for FOX, but it's true. Here they had, what seem to be a good show and they canceled it. FOX...you suck:mad:

I actually heard that they will be airing in the summer. I was pretty dissapointed when the show was cancelled too...

Hopefully thats true because there just isnt a whole lot of great summer shows.
The only shows I really watch in the summer are: Kyle XY and The Closer. At least those are the only ones I remember watching.
Anyway, Thanks for the info. I'll keep a look out for the rest of the episodes.

Well, two shows that just started not too long ago are On The Lot and Traveller.

Oh yeah, I forgot about Traveller. I've acctually been watching that. Its and Ok show so far. I also watched somthing called "Hidden Palms" this past week too. It was a pretty good pilot episode.
Also, one show I forgot about was NIP/TUCK. I believe its a summer show. But I'm not sure. I think it may come on near the END of summer.
Anyway, Drive would make a great addition to the few shows that come on in the summer no matter what. So lets hope that the info is TRUE.

I checked my Tivo and it says that the last 2 episodes of the Tv show "Drive" are both comming on JULY 4th starting at 8/7Central.
That will give the show a Grand Total of 6 Episodes.
So maybe it will give us some closure for the show. I'm still VERY dissapointed it was cancelled in the first place but "you gotta take what you can get".
The date is also confirmed here:
http://www.fox.com/drive/
So for all you Drive Fans. Enjoy your last two episodes.
