Developed by Telltale Games, CSI: Hard Evidence will continue the crime-solving experience of Ubisoft's CSI video game series. Players will join Gil Grissom, Catherine Willows and the rest of the Las Vegas cast to help solve crimes using realistic techniques and lab equipment. CSI: Hard Evidence features forensic reconstructions and atmospheric crime scenes taken directly from the television show, including an all-new garage lab for analyzing large evidence such as cars and boats, improved evidence gathering, review and lab mini-games, and more areas to explore, resulting in longer play experiences.
"CSI: Hard Evidence is a whole new game that's all about the evidence and even more like the show, giving fans the experience of being part of the CSI Vegas team," said Jay Cohen, vice president of publishing at Ubisoft. "We are continuing the CSI: Vegas experience by providing multiple methods of evidence recovery, crime reconstructions, and all-new high-tech forensic gadgets so fans can feel like real crime scene investigators."

I never got into this show so I probably won't get the game. If the achievements are good I might rent it.

I'd imagine the achievements for this game are going to be along the lines of "Solve Case Number x", and you'll probably pick them all up fairly easily as you go along. I hope I'm wrong, and there are some creative achievements instead...

I hope this game is going to be as great as the show is! And I also hope you have to rescue nick stokes in the episode he gets kidnapped and burried under ground.. Maybe the achievements will be solve a crime before you get DNA results or something like that.. I don't know but i think it's going to be great

I hope they dont follow any of the show plots that have air in the past. I want the makers to have freedom to come with any of thier own ideas. I dont want them to be handcuffed. I think u need a shocker in the story line to make u want to play it all the way through to see how it all comes together.

Thought I would share some of the info from the podcast at The Gamers Pub listed in the news section for those not wanting to listen to all of it (but the Halo 3 comments near the end were fun):

-Still a Point and Click game
-You don't start as a trainee, you're already a CSI member
-All main characters are in it (all men are the real actors)
-2-2.5 hours per case to solve on average
-Bonus "items" for Master ratings, but those are not tied into achievements
-All different story-lines than that in the show (Thus no miniature killer)
-Trying to get all type of people, not just hardcore gamers.
-New laser tool for bullet trajectory
-No online at all (no leaderboards, no DLC)
-Game not yet done yet, still no exact date (Before Christmas)
-Rated Mature (blood)

Achievements: (7:39 mark)
Achievements aligned with each case (200 pts/case with 5 cases)

At first it was explained that "each case that you solve basically gets you 200 pts." Then Steve519 asked "5 achievements, one for each kind of crime?" Which had a positive response.

The way the first comment was made, it sound like you would get multiple achievements for each case, but then Steve519 asked his question making it sound like the game has only 5. I'm hoping that it was a mistake with only 5 achivements, but we will see.

It's odd that they say the game isn't done. UK sites have it listed for release 5 October, and it has even been reviewed (although Nuts magazine isn't renowned for the quality of its videogame journalism).

I hope the release is long before christmas but I think the developers know best when the game is ready :)

Yah, I don't know what you are talking about considering gamestop had it instore when I went to pick up Halo 3. The achevements are lame but it will make me rent it. I really enjoyed the show though ( vegas, i dont like miami or NY).

Yeah, this is weird. x360a had the podcast listed in their news section for September 23, I went over to The Games Pub and the date for that podcast was also for the 23rd, I didn't realize that the game was already out until you mentioned it, and I picked it up today.

Makes me wonder just how long ago that podcast was actually recorded and why he decided to post "insider" information when the game had already been released. Makes me start to question those podcasts now.

can someone help me plz in first mission ive got both evidences from crime scene got all matches so lab doesnt want me to do nomore, morgue doesnt give me nothing now same with interogation same with the 2 women i cant get at the fire temple yet i presume i might need to get a warrant for that but cant lol same with askin for warrant for new mini golf place its doin my head in lol :( i know im missin something just some help to find it wud be great

You say 'both', indicating you have 2 pieces of evidence. Go look again. There should be at least 5 pieces of evidence at the crime scene. Not every piece is right beside the car, so look everywhere.
