Autobots and Decepticon Symbols Achievement

I have already posted this in someone else's topic but it was kind of off topic so have created a new thread in the hope that someone will be able to give me some help.

I have collected the symbols on both campaigns using a guide but I am still missing at least 1 symbol on each campaign. I'm not sure which one specifically it could be as I had already gained approx 10 of each symbol when completing the campaigns on normal.

Did anyone find that they were missing the last symbol because the guide said it was somewhere and it was actually somewhere else or the like?

I had this problem the first time so try this:

Play a co-op game but start it without anyone else joining. Load up The Ambush and see if the symbol is there (top left before you jump down where the autobots are waiting for you).

I collected all in the decepticon campaign, all of them did NOT reappear, BUT when I shot the first one in co-op the achievement popped.

I am having this problem as well.

I was playing the autobot campaign (aerial assault) and I stopped to play MP.

When I came back I started from the beginning but now I can only collect 4 out of the 5 symbols for this section of the campaign. I am currently at 24 out of 25.

Is there anyway to get the one that the save file thinks I have but is not counting in my total.

That's why I advise to play a 'private' co-op game. All the symbols reappear and you can get them over.

Thanks I tried it but the decepticon symbols are not reappearing for me.

I appreciate your suggustion.

I will probably just delete the file and run through it on easy for the achievement.

I had the same problem with those Jedi Holicrons in the Force Unleashed deleting the file isn't something I like doing but it does work.

got the same problem here i think. i got all the autobot ones but the decepticons no. Update: No decepticon symbols are reappearing in private co-op matches.

I think you have to play with another person that doesn't have all of the symbols (MADasaHatter will have to confirm) I tried to start up a coop match alone and the symbols DO NOT REAPPEAR.

I read all of Hatters posts regarding this glitch and I am not sure if you need to start the campaign from the beginning in order to get the achievement or just go to the chapter where you are missing the symbol.

I have tried it both ways and still no luck.

I have thought this to myself. only problem is finding someone now. I was on earlier today and not one person was plaing co-op lol.

FINALLY UNLOCKED IT

My only addition is that I had to play the ENTIRE first level of the Autobot campaign.

This was the campaign where I was missing ONE symbol and when I shot the last Decepticon symbol in the level the achievement unlocked.

Additionally I had to have people in my party it didn't work solo on a coop game.

I know how difficult it is to gather coop members so I am offering my services to anyone that experiences this glitch...

I started a co-op game by myself on the last chapter and the one i was missiong was they thx for the head's up

I had no problem getting the Decepticon ones but the collectables on the last chapter of autobots the Tripicon battle seem a bit glitchy. I was playing co-op and was sure we got all five but achievement didn't pop so we replayed it on easy and I made sure I shot them all this time and the achievement popped..

They do disappear once you've got them on single player.

If playing on co-op make a note if you co-player shoots a emblem. Hope it should register something / 25. The walkthrough description is very clear and accompaning youtube videos make these fairly easy to fine
