Has anyone heard of these guys? I just found out about them last week and their now one of my favorite up-and-coming bands. I like their Comic-esque look for their album and video. Can't wait to check them out at the Uproar tour this summer.

(from wiki)
Hail the Villain come from Oshawa, Ontario and came together in 2003 after vocalist Bryan Crouch quit school. Hail the Villain was originally called Farenheit in 2003. The band members Bryan Crouch, Joseph Stamp, Drew Dockrill and Chad Taylor drew eclectic audiences with their unique brand of Hard Rock (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hard_rock_music) and Heavy Metal (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heavy_metal_music) music. In early 2006, Farenheit changed their band name to Hail the Villain. In the spring of 2009, Hail the Villain made a record deal with Warner Music Canada (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warner_Music_Canada). By the summer of 2010, Roadrunner Records had come on board to release the album in the United States. Hail the Villain's debut album Population: Declining, was released sometime in 2008 and re-released on Roadrunner Records on June 8th 2010.

I got their EP for free from Roadrunner yesterday. Popped it in, had a listen, and they're not bad. Looking forward to seeing them on Uproar. Lemme dig around and see if I can find that link.

I've heard of them, but I never really gave them a listen.
I might just start now.

Didn't like them at first because they sounded too much like Metallica. Still not really my type of music, but they're not bad by any means.

The music videos are interesting, though. Very unique.

They sound pretty generic to me. Like every other hard rock band since.. oh I don't know, mid 90's?

Not bad per se, just.. boring.
