First Sign of Respect - 5g
-refer to Public Enemy Number One

Gaining Respect - 10g
-refer to Public Enemy number One

Making An Impression - 15g
-refer to Public Enemy Number One

Demanding Respect - 20g
-refer to Public Enemy Numer One

Jack Of All Trades - 25g
-refer to Public Enemy Number One

Public Enemy Number One - 50g
Reach level 50, once you've done so, you will have got all the above achievements, if you take over everything in the game, keep robbing banks and stealing racket trucks until you reach level 50.

Assassin - 10g
This is easy, simply use different weapons, and when the 'execute' promt appears hit the left bumper.

Petty Theft - 10g
Go into the map screen and press right trigger, this should open a list of corleone owned businssess, look through them until you find one with 'safe opened':no' - go to that place, find the safe and blow it up, you only need one stick of dynamite, you get another from the safe you just blew up, repeat ten times, if you dont own any more businessess, take over some - this will help towards 'Earner'.

Negotiatior - 5g
Look On your map for a police badge, go to that location, then bribe the police chief.

Smuggler - 10g
Look around for lorries, when you see one, park in front of it, then fire off your tommy gun at the front of it, until the men jump out the back, kill them then the driver will hop out, pursuade him to give you his truck, then drive it too your the nearest lorry drop-off point, which will be on your map when you get in the lorry, watch out though the gang thta you stole the racket truck off will chase you down so, make sure to do this near a safe house, Repeat this 10 times.

Real Estate Investor -10g
you get this automatically after you complete one of the first missions in the game.

Body Guard - 10g
Look for one of the 'crew for hire' icons on your map, go there and buy.

Earner -10g
Keep taking over Businessess, if your a low level go after tattaglia's and stracci's, cuneo and Barzini can be difficult to handle at a low level, this will help you get 'Petty theft' and 'Enforcer'.

Enforcer - 10g
Again, like Earner, keep taking over businessess, and you'll come across five rackets sooner or later, except you shouldnt have to do any pursuading, you just buy them straight out.

Arms Dealer - 10g
Go to the very bottom of little Italy, at a park type place, theres someone there who will sell you a fairly cheap weapons upgrade.

Forced Entry - 10g
Look on your map for a dollar sign, thats a bank, make sure you are fully prepared and if your a low level higher someone, go into the bank walk up to the vault, then all the guards will turn on you, kill them, blow open the vault with dynamite then steal all the cash and get back to the nearest safehouse then the achievement is yours.

Demolitions Expert - 10g
It's better you do this when your in a mob war, That way you can end it, find a business owned by the family that your in a mob war with and make sure you have a bomb, NOT DYNAMITE OR MOLOTOVS, run in, plant bomb, run out and drive to safe house because your heat goes to the top.
Youll get this when the bomb explodes.

Knockout King - 15g
Refer to 'Heavyweight Champ'

Entrepreneur - 15g
Refer to 'Dept Collecter

Neighborhood Control -25g
Keep playing until you see an objective called 'Take over the verona warehouse to take over Little Italy', find the verona warehouse, It's owned by Tattaglia, Then take it over and the achievement is yours.

For The Family -25g
Keep going too the blue circles on your map and complete the missions you gain from them, on the 'Tom's report' screen It'll tell you how much out of 100% you have done.
Get a 100% to get the achievement.

Contract Killer -25g
Keep going too the yellow circles on your map and complete the missions you gain from them, on the 'Tom's report' screen it'll tell how much out of 100% you have done.
Get a 100% to get the achievement.

Service Provider -25g
Keep going to the Pink circles on your map and complete the missions you gain from them, on the 'Tom's report' screen it'll tell you how much out of 100% you have done.
Get 100% to get the achievement.

Diplomat - 20g
You'll come accross this as you work towards "total domination" every so often you'll meet a shop owner who needs a favour, help he or she out and they should automatically pay out to you. also note there are ten of these merchants that need help.

Total Domination - 50g
Like I've said before go for Tattaglia's and Stracci's first then when you have more weapon upgrades and are a higher level go for the Cuneo's and Barzini's, You will get this achievement when every single shop is under Corleone control.

Front Man - 50g
You'll get this while working towards "Total Domination" go into basements or upper floors of shops and clubs and you will discover another person to extort, once you have extorted all of these people the achievement is yours.
Note: if you do not have this achievement when you have "Total Domination" look back at the list of businesses you own in Tom's report and see which ones have a "front" that has not been extorted.

No More Narcotics - 30g
This is a pretty easy achievement as its not much to do, visit the four drug rackets and take them over - you will need some dynamite, so nothing new.

Warehouse Wrecker - 30g
Look at "Rival Family Elimination" - use the same advice for taking down warehouses.

Transport Takedown - 30g
Look at "Rival Family Elimination" - use the same advice for taking down transport hubs.

Rival Family Elimination - 40g
These (including two above) are not easy, there are a lot of rivals at each and especially with Cuneo and Barzini they are tough. Here is some advice for getting these achievements.
*Don't get to close, stay a good distance from your rivals and take them down using the Tommy gun or the Magnum, when in an enclosed area use the Shotgun incase an enemy jumps you from a corner.
*Take dynamite and molotovs - enemies tend to group together, a good ol' molotov will sort that out .
*When taking down one of the Rival family houses try and get into the basement, enemies are swarming the house ready to jump you, don't deploy your dynamite until you are sure they're all gone, wait in the basement and they will come to you one by one - easy pickings.
*Make good use of cover - if at any point you see your health dwindling get behind some cover, the A.I isn't all that smart.
*Don't act like a hero - like the last one same as any shooter really, Don't run into a crowd of ten enemies, use cover and pick them off one by one or if they are close together use a Molotov

Real Estate Mogul - 20g
In hotel type places you can enter and buy a room to use as a safe house, you will get one automatically, then Buy the rest, family buildings you take over also count as safehouses so you can only get this achievement once you have "Total Family Elimination"

Bank Robber - 10g
There are six banks in the city, plant dynamite on the safe, take the money and go, make sure you have a get away vehicle and get to a nearby safe house, once you have taken the money from the sixth bank and get to a safe house this achievement is yours
Note: you do no have to heist all the banks at once, do them one by one.

Heavyweight champ - 25g
There are five prize fight locations these are:
Little Italy - 2nd floor of Molsenni's - Prince Street and Bowery
Brooklyn - 1st floor of Pitkin Garments - Washington Street and Front Street
Midtown - Basement of Corcoran's Perch - 23rd Street and 4th Avenue
Hell's Kitchen - Roof of Stromboli Supplies - Galvin Street and 11th Avenue
New Jersey - Basement of Highway Hotel - Observer Highway and Newark Street.
Win them all and the achievement is yours
Note: you cannot use weapons to win fights to get this achievement.

Safecracker - 30g

There is a list here of safe locations, use a stick of dynamite for all 100 and the achievement is yours.

The Don -25g
To get this just complete all of the main missions, remember. Blue circles, complete them all and you will be crowned "Don" of the Corleone family.

Don of NYC - 50g
If I remember rightly to do this you must have completed all of the main missions, and taken down all the other family strongholds, businesses and fronts, takes a lot of time, but you will get this as you progress through the game.

Executioner - 40g

Here is an excellent list some kind guy provided, complete one of each on an opposing family member and the achievement is yours.
Note: I'm pretty sure this only works on other family members, not civilians or police.

Debt Collecter - 30g

I accidently killed one of thos people, do they respawn?

Yeah - they do respawn, but it takes some time. Go to the pause menu, then access the map and click the right trigger until you find the name of the business where you killed the racket/business owner. Hit "A" and it should give you the status of the business front and the racket. If you killed the guy who runs the racket it should say "closed due to a death in the family," and it should also show a time when the racket will re-open - usually around 1 1/2 hours real time. There will be a hammer icon covering the business during the time that it is closed, if you kill the business owner, which disappears when the business re-opens. This menu also lets you see if you've cracked safes for each location.

I used it for 3 more and got the 'Prize Fight Won' message... I got to Brooklynn's and using a bat, I didn't get it... Maybe it was a fluke, but can anyone confirm getting the achievement for all 5 prize fights using a melee weapon?

I got it for winning 1 fight and then again for all 5 fights. But, I don't know if any one other then me got it that way. I would think you would get for all 5 since you got it for 1 are you sure you did all 5?

There is one thing that I must say about this guide is on the contract hits, do you need to kill the target in the specific manner? As I think I've completed all hits but one or two I didn't kill in the specified manner. I checked to see if I'd got the entire % but it doesn't seem like it...

So I have "Front Man" but not total Domination. (I even looked twice to make sure).

To get this I am assuming that you need to at least walk into the buisness your family already owns. I will try it...if nothing else start a new game and try for just that. I have looked at the map and I the only things not owned are the family compounds.

Or is this a glitch with the game? or did I screw up?

Any help at all is appreciated.
