Im tired of walking

I can not find a damn horse for the life of me anymore, I have found three of them,

1. I thought they were common and left somewhere,
2. got stuck in the grass (some sort of animation glitch) and didnt move anymore
3. I went into the forgotten settlement and was getting attacked by wolves the damn horse just stood there and froze and I couldnt get back on him.

Does anyone know a place where I can find a horse at all times?

Also from what Im seeing it seems that I just have to uncover everypart of the map and go into any dungeon or cave I find for those achievements to unlock is this true?

ive been playing two worlds alot i have gotten to the point of just walking. It sucks but the horse mess up all the time... I hope it gets fix the two worlds 2

I've seen at least 1 horse in some of the Grom Camps. In one Orc camp, there's two horses (or lizards?). This camp is near Windbreaker Village.

I've found horses to be quite useless and hard to control. I've mainly relied on teleporters to get around quickly. Yeah, it does get boring walking but thankfully I've been doing it while exploring the map.

I left my horse near a teleporter and it was gone when I went back. Tried whistling, but that didn't work. I've just decided to walk and teleport where I need to go since the horse is difficult to maneuver, especially in combat.

this is a great game.. except anything that has to do with the horse haha.. sucks so much to ride and fight with and it always gets stuck.. i havent played the new one.. i will when im done with this but hopefully riding horse is better.. this is 1000g that I will be proud of

I can find them but there a git to ride. I find walking better plus activate the teleports. That may help a bit. Teleports was the first thing i went for.

The horse freezing and standing there appears to be it dying with no death animation. I've had it happen a couple of times. There is also skeletal horses at most of the Black towers, Several of them along the side of the roads, and at least 5 Orc horse-like creatures in the orc camps. I personally did 90% of my game on foot as I found it was easier to explore accurately that way. It is also annoying to ride a horse on the slightest slope as they tend to get stuck. If you ever leave a horse though it is best to leave them outside a town as they will always be there when you go back to sell stuff if you bother to. I rarely did but somehow ended up with 6 horses in a group outside one of the towns.

Actually you can even create your own teleport points via the personal teleport platforms. not to mention the personal teleport stone that you can use anytime anywhere. (unless ure in a dungeon)

Each of the black towers has a horse outside of it.

Having said that I have given up on riding unless I am going down roads as the game seems most buggy when I am riding a horse. I constantly get stuck on walls and fences. Occasionally the horse just decides it is just going to bug out on me for no good reason and loses its rear legs into the ground. Walking is just safer when exploring off the road.

I had so much trouble trying to get the horses to work properly I ended up on foot for most of the game. Between getting the horse stuck constantly and animals constantly attacking and killing the horse, it was easier to walk. Still liked the game, finished it, and bought the next one. Skyrim had to be played before TWII though.

I'm gonna walk everywhere. Even in Oblivion and Skyrim I travelled on foot. I'm lookin forward to gettin 1000g in this game. Even if the Discover xxx achievements will take some time.

I have only gotten on a horse to get the achievement. I have never enjoyed horse riding in a game. Playing through RDR sucked for me since there is a lot of horse riding that has to be done there.
I plan on just walking and teleporting anywhere I need to go.
