Easy 1000, never bothered much with the game until now, going to the top of my rental list when its out.

Gutted about this! Really looking forward to the game, and trying hard to unlock the achievements! Ah well, I guess it wont be such a ball ache trying to get them all! Could still have been a little bit tougher though, and maybe a few more than 5!

wow, so there are only going to be 5 lvls, and once you find out who dunnit then there is absolutely no reason to play it anymore. I wonder how many people are actually going to buy this. I will rent it for sure but spend 60 bucks is just crazy!!!

i read on another forum there is a discussion that this game is going to be released at 40$ not 60$, if so, its a better deal, but i still don't see myself buying it honestly.

A let down, turns the game immediately into a rental.

Although theres only 5 achievements it doesn't necessarily mean it will be an easy game or quick achievements... at least not until someone plays it. Games like this require you to sometimes do a lot of things (i.e. Emergency Room) just to get evidence and find out what is needed. That said each of these five cases may take a few hours a piece depending on how free-roaming the game is.

I'm disappointed with these...sure it's going to be an easy 1000; only thing that may slow you down is obtaining all evidence required to solve the mystery but that goes away the first day someone throws a walkthrough on the web. This game is not your standard FPS we've been seeing recently and I was really looking forward to some interesting / time consuming achievements.

It looks easy but watch it not be. I can see there being alot of missions you have to do and these are thrown in between ever 10 maybe. CSI Las Vegas has been going on for awhile and they have alot they could work with. We will just have to wait and see when it comes out.

wooah, ive never seen so easy achievements in my life. ive completed all the other CSI games with 100% on all chases. thats what the achievements should be like...but i guess it will be fun anyway:woop:

About one hour per case. They could've made 50 achievements, but the CSI games are all pretty linear. So it doesn't really make a difference if you get them after a case or during a case.

I think 5 achievments are cool. But at the same time not to challenging. But some game are to hard to get so I think it evens out.

They look suprisingly easy I played some PC games it can be frustrating. I thought they would have one for completing mission and then one for gettiing the highest grade possible. I think the PC games gave you some bonus case if you completed with the highest score.

It took me like an hour and a half to get the first mission done and receive 200 points. If you use the hint button you can get it I'm sure way faster, I only used it once. It doesn't matter how many times you use it because you get the achievements no matter what. The controls took a little time to get use to, but should be a little faster after you get use to them.

Oh well, at least it will be fun to point and click some more, and when I get done there are plenty of family members already wanting play it. (Just hope Lost's achievements will be better)

Well I just rented this game, and I played though the first case. Oh my gawd is this game soooooo boring!! The first case took me about 1 hour and a half. So I can figure at best this game might take 10 hours to beat...... but I SERIOUSLY DOUBT IT!!! I know that I could have went faster.... So if you knew where to look and what to "do" next you could solve each case in less than 30 min. (There are alot of cut-scenes.Easily skip-able.) All in all ONLY worth it for a quick 1000!!!

A rental is about all it's worth. It's impossible to "lose" at any time. If you ever get stuck, just ask for a hint, and they'll tell you every single thing you need to know. The dialogue can get kinda boring and long sometimes too, but just press B to skip it all, because you can still solve the cases without it. The cases are kinda long, yes... but you'll have the whole thing beaten in a day.

my wife just got this today, but here's hoping for a quick 1000 this weekend, It'll go to the top of my list, I don't know if it's the easiest 1000 ever, NHK 2k6 is still the fastest for us.

im on the 4th case, so far its taken me about 5 hours or slightly more, most of that is loading time as my box had been on all day by the time i got to this game and it was slower to respond, not bad but the contorls are awkward and the graphics are ok but the voice/picture thingy is smetimes out (may be my hot box though), saras voiced by somone else (and as soon as you notice that then thats all you notice) not that hard though especially with the hints and the achievments are pretty lame, they could have tied in a "find 10 bugs" or something

All the character models are really poo - very bland PS2 GFX - i was at least expecting it to look good even the FMV isnt HD footage - its all blocky.

i have spend a few hours and have just finished mission 3, bit of a downer that the graphs arent that great and that they recylced the scenes from mission 2 for 3.. cheapos!!!
achievements are too simple, should have added something for obtaining Master rating and Finding all bugs ( a bit like the Find birds and Metal pieces in condemned)

bit pricy for 60 bucks, but this is one of the few games that my girlfriend actually wants to play as well

The same casino scene from mission 2 pops up again in missions 4 and 5 AND the studio scene in mission 4 is repeated in mission 5 also... can you see how much budget this game must of had ?!! all of the cash went on the actors for the voices methinks .... anyway 1000g's easy in around 8 hours (a lot less if you use a guide or FAQ)

if you aren't a fan of the show i wouldnt recommend it - although if you really must have an extra 1000g's then go for it.. just dont purchase the dam thing.

i didnt get the 5 Master ratings, anybody got that? and what special feature does it open or bonus does it give?
has to be pretty good else i cant be bothered to do 4 cases again...

picked it up for 35 gbp wich is some 55-60 dollars i think

its deffenatly an easy 1000, i was racing a friend to 20.000, we were both around 600 points away and he put that in is box and i said dam i lost. he got the full 1000 in probably 3 hours. im deffenatly gonna rent it for that quick 1000

i got this from gamefly, obviously to boost achievements, but if i follow the guide on the site, how fast can i race through this game. i don't really care about the story, and i'm planning on not looking for anything on my own, so how long will this take? think i can beat it in less than like 3 hours? and any tips to get through it faster? like the ability to skip a bunch of stuff, or if you know the results can you somehow just find the solution in just a couple of steps/clues?

I hope I don't get flamed or anything but I think the game's not that bad. It actually reminds me of Phoenix Wright, in case you guys have played that game before. Minus the compelling intrigue and excitement, of course.

I can confirm that it takes roughly 6 - 8 hours to do everything and that is with a lot of wiggle room. The important things to remember:

Case 5 ... remember exactly where all the bullets are pulled from

All Cases ... ask everything to everyone because that opens more stuff up

Stuck this in for the first time last night. I think I spent more time loading the different locations than actually solving the crime. Still on the 1st one after an hour and a half as I missed the footprint beside the car at the crime scene. Will try and drag through a couple this evening. Is it worth it?

Wow, pretty easy achievements. I'd have to say Avatar: Burning Earth is alot easier, as I've seen my friend play this game, you get all 1000 gamerscore for beating the game...but the levels are very complex and long.
