Well there is a complete with AI achievement so one of the secret achievements has to be to complete with in co-op isn't that what this game has been sold around? Can't what to play this co-op all the way through.

Kool. Most, if not all of the achievements in this game look quite simple and easy to get, I hate it when developers make the points in a game too hard, I mean I like a challenge from time to time but I can't stand the games that take ages to get points on lol...this may be an easy 1000G :locked

for the full 1k, you're probably looking at roughly 30 hours of game time. (thats probably just an average, of course it'll be skill based, too)

the most time consuming achievement would be the 1 billion in online matches...other than that it's probably gonna be a 2-3 afternoon job for the other 960/1000

the secret achievements are definitely "Complete Mission X (1-6) on Contractor(medium) or higher". Mission 1 and 2 are worth 30G while 3-6 are 15G each.

I like these achievements a lot. Its mostly kill based, which what I plan to be doing most of the game! :AR15 I'll have lots of fun playing this game with my friends.

I'm curious to see how the online interface is going to be. I hope its not matcmaking. I also hope you can bring a party into a ranked game lobby. Regardless of the achievements I think this game is going to be great fun. To bad RB6V2 comes out a week later. AO2 will collect dust when that drops.

I love getting achievements too but I'm too much of a gamer to allow achievements dictate whether I play a game or not. I like gaming for the fun and challenge of the game itself.

there's only one achievement in the whole offline mode that's not obtainable by playing with the AI as your partner, and that's :

Starting a Riot 30G
Kill 50 enemies total in Co-op Riot Shield.

every other offline can be done alone or with a friend.

Reading this thread I saw alot of comments about only two coop achievs. I would think that you could earn most of them while playing coop. Except "finish game with AI", obviously. The adversarial mp achievs can be considered coop IMO, after all MP is two vs. two. Just my 2 cents:drunk

So, let me get this straight. For a game that is completely and utterly built for co-op play there is no achievement for playing through the whole game with a friend - but there is for AI?

In a few screenshots of online one team had $151,000 and I think the other team had $51,000.

EDIT: I just saw another screenshot were one team had $294,000 and the other had $141,000

EDIT 2: Last edit I hope... I just found some nice info for you all The name of the game is the collect as much money as possible, while staying alive. For every NPC you drop, you get $1000. For every live opponent, its $3000. Completing objectives increases your payout even more. The first game we were in, GamingD and I amassed over $1,000,000 to the amusement of the EA people. Second game, we were over $2.5 million and on a roll.

Yeah I guess the cash works like this: Every match you get the choice to purchase new guns, the more expensive/better guns you buy, the lower your overall score is, but since it's a better gun it should even out.

The achievements look like they will be fun to get, unlike Gears where you have to get 100 kills with each weapon online, these are in single player. They also have a good assortment of online achievements that should be fun to go after like the $1 billion total revenue accumulated online

I really like the sound of the game so far , the achievements look good too , but it won't be easy , the co-op achievements are just easy to get , if you have a good co-op partner :) if you have the noobest nooby as your co-op partner? hmmm it might be a lil' dificult...but not impossible.

the secret achievement are very easy, just finish a mission on 'contractor' or higher difficulty. for the first two missions you will get 30g each, later on only 15g a mission. wich i think is pretty weird, but true.

IRL, it's an assault rifle, but it's in the machine gun section of the Primary Guns list.

And for that matter, how about the AUG? It's also in the MG section with the PKM, SAW, and M134. Basically I'm trying to do the Machine Gun achievement without using a weapon that couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. ;)

Is the MP7 a sub-machine gun? Just want to make sure I'm going for the sub-machine gun achievement and just want to make sure I'm not wasting my time using the MP7 since I havn't seen an area where they tell you what is an assault rifle or what.. though for most of them it is pretty obvious :D

^Huh? Partner AI means that it is the computer..

For the Partner AI achievement, you have to . . . PLAY THE WHOLE THING WITH THE AI! If you play part of it with a friend over XBL, then part with the AI, that part you did with the AI will count towards the achievement, and you can go back through Mission Select and do the parts you did with a human player over again with the stupid bot.

You've probably figured it out for sure, and I'm not positive about it, but here goes:

I'm betting they are Assault Rifles. They are in the real life, and they both can have frontmounts, and I don't think there are sections (the Dao-X is in the middle of them all, it's a shotty). But PKM is your best bet for accuracy and power, IMO for the machine gun ach.

Just to send the tip about a easy achievment. I don't know how to contribute to the complete help FAQ, but here it go.

- Fear is the Mind Killer - you can go Aggro just so easy in the begining of the training. Just shoot for a minute in the first turret to go make this achievement. I guess it was the easiest 45G I ever earn! :D

Yeah, Skorpion's a SMG. MP5k, the little mini-uzi lookin' one, and the MP7 are the other SMG's I believe, though I don't have it pulled up right now so I can't confirm those are all of them. The BST that you unlock from the Gamestop code also works for SMG achievement as well.

Pretty simple, it's the computer player. Play the game without a friend, just the AI dude. Basically, play through the single player campaign, in single player. Make sense?

Pick any level, start killing bad guys with X weapon, and before you get to the NEXT checkpoint, simply press Start, then revert to last save (I think the option is 'Restart from Checkpoint' on the menu). You'll have to learn where abouts the checkpoints are, but you could always revert early. (As in redoing the same room of enemies over and over again if you're getting a lot of kills. I would recommend the 2nd mission, after parachuting and doing the back-to-back, you get a checkpoint. Kill the 10-12 guys that come through the door, revert, repeat.)

I believe that all the achievements are reasonable except the ''Retirement Savings Plan'' not because it's to hard to get but because every time I play a ranked match and get any substantial amount of money someone on the other team quits and I get nothing to show for almost 20 minutes of playing time. I think that they needed to have some sort of fail safe in the ranked matches for people to still obtain their money from babies who quit while their getting their a** beat.

No, but you can count each time you kill and write it on a piece of paper.Thats the only way of tracking your kills.

Is there an easy way to see how much money you have earned online? I know you can go to the leaderboards, then check every map and game type, then add them all up, but that seems to troublesome. Is there a better way?

Did anyone else notice that Rainbow Six Vegas 2 has two achievements with the same exact name, and they're both very similar? "Spray and Pray" (Get machine gun kills in both games) and "One Shot, One Kill" (Get kills with sniper rifle in both games.)

You can see your money at checkpoints, and also if you go buy weapons in the main menu, it will show your money too.

i know total kills count towards achievements, even without checkpointing. Is the same true for online money earned? Too many people drop the moment they start losing, and I waste my time... anyone prove it right or wrong? Also, I try to check my overall progress towards the rsp achievement, and it's annoying looking through all the different options. Is there a more accurate way to check my progress?

Its a quite good game, i liked it, the achievements are not very hard, some of them take a bit of time.
Online really sucks in this game, i hardly find any game to play, and their full of quiters.

Im not sure which side you have to be on to get the right spawn, But there is a certain spawn where you spawn next to a gun turret. Its up above everything. I think Its on china... (although it's part of the story) At one point it shows your death screen where it usually says Mission Failed but it allows you to keep playing, it's really creepy. It then was adopted by some people as "ownage" or something to the effect. lol

Anyways on to my question...

When you play online going for retirement savings, does it count both you and your partner's money or just your own for the achievement??

I'm having issues with the money I earn online. How many times have they reset the leaderboards? and how long does it take for them to update the boards? Because I seem to check them right after they've been reset or not updated yet, I still have $0 on all of them and I only play bounties so it should be easy to see where I'm at. I don't even know how much money I've earned now...

Don't think you can. If you're going for the 'Starting a Riot' acheivement you'll need a second controller/human player.

For the one shot, one kill achievement where you need to get 100 sniper kills...can you find a spot in the game where sniper kills are easy...kill all of them in that spot...and then reload from checkpoint and do it again? Do the kills I got before I reloaded checkpoint count or does the game need to be saved in order for my sniper count to increase? Thanks for any help

I think they overshot way to much with the Retirement Savings Plan achievement, less than 100 people have it I believe. Too, too long of an achievement.

if you go into training on the last part just take out your sniper and kill the guys that pop up over and over, and you can't die. Just make sure ur A1 partner or coop tm hits the landmine and not you so you can kill the guys. Only 120 guys pop up.

quick question - I know you can restart checkpoints and kills stack up - but what if you quit out and start the chapter again. In afghanistan the very first part Im trying to kill the suicide bombers and get 50 kills back to back. restart chapter only restarts after the back to back part.

can i do that part. quit. and start it back up and have kills save?

Definitely one of the most hard and annoying achievements to get, I just spend like 4 or 5 hours trying to do it, and here is my suggestion if anyone is having a hard time with it.

1. You will need the MGL MK-X and the M107 LIGHT 50.
2. A lot of practice.

- As soon as Dalton finish talking zoom your primary weapon and at the same time send your partner(AI) forward in aggressive mode(red arrow), try to shoot in advance so when Dalton moves you hit him on time. He must not reach the second curve of the catwalk. If done correctly the cut scene is going to pop up, be ready to change to the sniper rifle and zoom in to Dalton, two fast shots to his head must kill him. If you you did it in less than 40 seconds your achievement should be completed. Try this only in Recruit difficulty.

It's really hard to do it but not impossible.
