Add-on problem- can't finish

My cousin and I both added his 2 add-on packages (broken steel-point lookout; the pitt-operation anchorage) and when we were in the last room during the main quest, the lady (lyons) wouldn't talk to us to decide who goes in. I had beaten the game before on my file before adding it but that still doesn't explain it... please help

it does if you reached that point before you added the DLC. once you hit the point of no return, it's the point of no return -- even if you install the DLC later.
