This is a new feature on the forums. The staff are going around tidying the clutter and making sure x360a is the one stop shop for all your 360 needs. :D
The Faq threads are where we need your help! What do you think are the most commonly asked questions about this game? Which threads keep popping up? What things do you wish you had been told when you first got this game?
Post in this thread and I'll edit the top post ;)
Thanks for your help
Q. Which weapons must I find/use for the achievements?
A. There is a list of all weapons in the game here (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/showthread.php?t=1035).
Q. I am missing a piece of evidence, where are they all?
A. There is a list of all pieces of evidence here (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/showthread.php?t=2344).
1.In order to get all the achievements you MUST find ALL metals and birds in order BEFORE moving on to the next chapter.
Q. Can I use the butt of guns and still get the Melee Master Achievement?
A.The answer is yes, to get any of the Master Melee awards you are permitted to use the butts of weapons. To change from shooting to using the butt you press the right bumper.
3.To get the Melee Mayhem award, you are REQUIRED to use each firearm once as a melee weapon. Note that for this one you do NOT have to hit someone, you just have to swing it. Make sure to do it 2-3 times before switching back to your primary weapon to ensure the game records that you used it.

On a related note, to get the Melee Mayhem award, you are REQUIRED to use each firearm once as a melee weapon. Note that for this one (another good one for the FAQ) you do NOT have to hit someone, you just have to swing it. I suggest 2-3 times before switching back to your primary weapon to ensure the game records that you used it.

Q: If I miss out on the bird achievement my first way through, can I just reload the chapters and nab them?
A: Yes. But be wary, the achievement is glitched, and may require you to reload the chapters multiple times.

I'd like a little clarification on the Fire-Arm Freedom and Gold Melee Master achievements. The guide says that you need to hit an enemy with each firearm in the game. Can I assume that that means that you actually have to shoot them, not melee them with the butt of the gun? That being the case, you can't get all 970 points in one playthrough? You have to get one of these two in one game and then go back through and get the other?

Q: Can I reload each chapter individually to get melee mayhem, gold melee master, silver melee master, fire arm, and chief investigator to get the achievements or do i have to beat it all over again from beggining?
I know that there is no need to start at the beginning, and that you can reload specific chapters you may have missed, but I'm not sure if it works like Gold Bird and Propaganda so I can't give a proper answer. Does anyone know if you can do a melee run then go back later on and use guns without interrupting the Silver/Gold Melee Master achievements?
Q: In order to unlock the Gold Bird Collector and the Propaganda reports, do I have to complete every chapter, in order, collecting everything, or can I replay chapters later on where I've missed birds/metals?
A: None of the achievements require a straight Chapter 1 through 10 playthrough. So yes, you can load previous chapters to collect the birds and metals you missed. However there is one catch. Only your score from the last time you beat the level counts towards your total bird (Gold Bird) and total metal (Propaganda) achievements.
Ie, if I was to score 6 of 6 birds and 2 of 3 metals on chapter one, then go back and replay it and score 4 of 6 birds and 1 of 3 metals (the one I missed on the first playthrough) this would NOT add together to make 6 of 6 birds and 3 of 3 metals as most people expect. It wouldn't even stay at 6 of 6 birds and 2 of 3 birds (the higher of the scores).
You wont lose your Chapter 1 Silver Bird Collector achievement, however as far as Gold Bird Collector and the Propaganda reports are concerned the game only counts you as having collected 4 of 6 birds and 1 of 3 metals in Chapter 1.
In short, until you've unlocked Gold Bird Collector and Fourth Propaganda Report you should always make sure to collect all birds and metals from each level regardless of whether you've completed them before. This is where 99% of misunderstandings come from with the Gold Bird and Propaganda Report achievements come from.
How many hours does this game take for you to get 970/970 GS?
