View Full Version : Customization of Rock Band Guitar

Since I'm never ever gonna get through in the rock band 1, nor rock band 2 forums, I might as well try here:

I've been planning to customize my original Fender Stratocaster controller for a while, but I just cant get the "head" on the effect switch off, and thus I cant remove the pickguard to do a repaint.

Can anyone help me with this? I just end up getting nasty marks on the pickguard whenever I try to force it off.

That looks pretty sweet man. Good luck with that. My guess is to use a hair dryer or a heat gun on low as that might be glued on there and you'll need to loosen the glue up.

Thanks. Got the thing off today. Totally random way:
I was just explaining to my friend how the thing was REALLY stuck and that I've been trying to get it off for a while, and then I pulled it a little and it came off. Oh, the irony!

I've made up my mind, and I'm going to go for something personal instead of something famous :P
