Maybe a glitch?

I am not sure if this is a glitch.

I am on the third level (Techno Ninjutsu), and am at the part where I jump through the small hole in the wall, that has a coin right in front of it. I jump through the hole, and I exit and everything turns the see-through white color, like it is between your turtle and the camera. I begin running off, assuming I am supposed to, but I realize I am running in a neverending sea of black. It keeps going forever.

Is this normal? Any solution besides starting the level over?

I had a rooftop level with no background or streets below, just black. This game was a bit of a rush job I think.

Restart the level.

I had a problem similar and just restarted. Everything was fine after the restart.

Consider yourself privileged to have been saved the monotony of each level.

I had same problem on the rooftops level and i was like wtf, i played for bit longer but did not get anywhere so i shut down the game and restared and all was fine.
